Shisu's character design is above! I know he doesn't have a headband, it's how I originally drew him but he has a navy headband(like his shoes)! He looks like his father and acts like his mother most of the time!
Boruto's POV
"Alright. I'll take you guys with me I guess." I said as I looked at everybody in the room. "When do we depart?" Dad asked. I never thought I'd be leading my parents in a squad. Heck, I never thought I'd be able to marry Sarada and have a family with her. "As soon as possible." I said. "Alright." Sasuke said. "Are we going to need anymore people?" Sakura asked. "I wish we had the time to." I said. "Alright. Everyone be ready for anything. We'll have Sai and Inojin look around in the sky still and we will do a ground search. Sound good?" Shisu asked. We all nodded.
"Inojin! Sai! Got anything!?" I shouted up to them. "Yeah!" Inojin said as he brought his bird down to me followed by his dad. "It seems like that the tracks of the thing that took her have led outside of the village." Sai said. Since I was part of the ANBU, I worked under most of the people my dad was friends with and they said that I was able to call them by their first name without 'Uncle' or 'Aunt' in front of their names. It was mainly to help hide more of my identity and theirs. "After it leaves the village, do we have any further tracks?" I asked. "No. That beast or whatever it is left something behind though. We can ask Kiba and Akamaru to track it." Sai said, holding up a piece of torn cloth. "Alright." I said.
After Kiba and Akamaru finished tracking what they could, they reported back to us. "Boruto, we've found where she is." Kiba said as he ran into the room I was in. I stood up. "Really?" I asked. "Yes. I saw her. I didn't want to rush in alone but she's ok by the looks of it." Kiba said. "Ok. Thank you. Lead us, stat." I said.
We sprinted through the small forest path as the leaves rustled behind the eight of us passed the small bushes. "Everyone slow down and stay low and quiet. We're getting close." Kiba said. Everyone acknowledged it by following the order and crouching low followed by slowing down. We continued walking. That's when it happened.
I heard her.
She cried out in pain.
My heart ached.
Right now, I couldn't help her.
It's hard.
Because.
I.
Love.
Her."Let's go." I said, not waiting for anyone to agree. I charged in, following Sarada's shouts of pain. Hang in there, Sara. I thought as continued to run. A few footsteps followed behind me. Not everyone came with me. I looked back to see Shisu, Inojin, and Sasuke. "The others are staying back for back up." Sasuke said. I nodded as I continued to rescue my wife.
We finally got to where her shouts dragged us to. A cave. Why was it always a cave that people would be captured in though? Anyway, we made a short plan. I would stay back, Shisu would act as a diversion with Inojin, and Sasuke would stay with me to get Sarada quietly. We waited for the sound of a battle(which played as our signal to get her) as we made sure our chakra couldn't be sensed. The signal sounded at last.
Inojin and Shisu has started a fight with whoever or whatever took Sarada. I just hoped Sarada was still alive or at least conscious. I sighed nervously, soon after, feeling a hand on my shoulder. I looked back. Sasuke looked stressed as well. I mean, after all it is his daughter that I let get captured. I'm surprised he hasn't killed me yet.
We ran into the cave and found Sarada. The opponent didn't even realize Sasuke and I entered. Easy opportunity and opponent. We got close enough to Sarada where we could whisper to her without being caught. She was unconscious and blood was spread across her face. I picked her up and ran out, Sasuke following me.
We finally got back to Dad and Sakura. "We need to retreat so I can take care of her." Sakura said. I gulped nervously. "Ok." I said. Just please....be ok.....
Beep........beep......beep......beep......beep........beep....
I sat in her hospital room, waiting for her to wake up. Inojin and Shisu sat next to me. I held her hand. Dang it. Wake up. I thought, the beeps of the monitor echoing through the room full of people.
As the next few days passed and she stayed asleep, I was the only one in there with her other than Shisu and Sasuke. Shisu and Sasuke were always pacing the room. Me? Well, I never let go of her hand for the past three days that she was asleep.
Sarada, you can't leave me. I love you so much. My heart and world would be torn into pieces. Just....stay with me.
Two days later.....
I sat there, holding her hand still. "You're stronger than this, dang it!! Get up!!" I shouted. I was tired of not seeing her smile. Not hearing her voice. Not hearing her laugh. I was sick of it.
A month later.......
I was still there, holding her hand. I wouldn't give up on her. Sakura walked into the room. She laid a hand on my shoulder. "Can we talk outside of the room?" She asked. "How about right here? I am NOT leaving her side." I said. "Fine, fine." She said as she pulled up a chair. "Boruto....I'm sorry......I don't want to say this.....I'm even having a hard time with processing everything but......she's been out for over a month and........I-I don't......I don't think she's going to make it........" Sakura said, wrapping me into a hug.
What?
No.
This....this is just a nightmare.....
No.
This isn't right.
"Stop lying." I spat. She released the hug, tears spilling down her face. "I'm not-" "ENOUGH! YOU JUST DON'T BELIEVE IN HER!!" I interrupted as I stood up. She stood up. A stinging sensation ran from my cheek. "No. That's enough from you. We tried as hard as we possibly could. I hate telling you this but SHE IS NOT GOING TO MAKE IT!! GET IT IN YOUR HEAD, BORUTO! DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND!? SHES NOT GOING TO MAKE IT!" Sakura shouted.
No.........
My princess.......
My love.........
My Sara...........
She's...........
Gone.
I cried while writing this chapter. I'm sorry guys.
