So another month and we are in the best time: December also my birthday month, Christmas and time for the new year. Micheal and I have gotten closer which is weird to think because I don't really have any friendships with guys but he seems like a boy I would want to have a good friendship with. Micheal sits with me for 2 and a half hours straight every day so that gives us a lot of time to talk and get close. He actually tells me personal things about himself and "tea" with his friends, so I do the same. We are slowly starting to become fond of each other and Alexia takes note of that so she gives us a smirk when he isn't looking.
So I start planning what I'm going to do for my birthday since it's two weeks away and I was thinking of doing a stranger things themed party, since it was my favorite show at the time.
A week before my birthday I start inviting people, and as I'm at my table, Alexia and I talk about my party and what cool decorations I should add to it. Of course Micheal overheard and keeps asking me why he wasn't invited. I mean yeah we've gotten closer but I don't know about inviting him. He pesters me the entire day and I think to myself if he ever gives up.
In my 6th period health class our teacher Ms. Holly wants to assign our seats because of our constant talking. I mean honestly it's our own faults because she gave us a chance to sit with our friends but we screwed up like always. I ask her to sit me in the front, since I can't really see the board from far and so she agrees. Ms.Holly tells me to take a seat at the front and she also calls up my best friend Christina to sit in front of me. Once again there's an empty seat next to me and I heard "Micheal sit here" and surely enough she's pointing at the empty seat next next to me. Yay. I don't even know how but we just always somehow end up sitting together. So he annoys me with coming to my birthday and I finally cave in and say that he can come because I would feel bad to say no knowing that he wants to come but I don't understand why he wants to so badly. "Could it be because he... no no I'm not going to think that it'll never happen, he said so himself."
So my birthday comes by and it's really just another party and was pretty fun to be honest. When Micheal arrived he texted me and so I was waiting for him outside, he was actually one of the first to get there. My best friend Amelia tells me "why did you invite Micheal? I mean I know it's your birthday and all but I didn't expect him to come". As I'm about to explain myself Micheal steps out of the car and gives me a hug along with a envelope. The hours pass by and he didn't really talk to me which was weird because Micheal really made it clear that he wanted to come so desperately, so why pretend like I wasn't there? So before we even cut the cake he has to go so I walk him out and he goes in to give me a hug in which I kind of dodged but happened anyway. He looks down and he says "bye, I hope you had a lot of fun today, thanks for inviting me" and gets in his car. "Okay why the hell was that so awkward? Why are things getting weird with him?"
