The remainder of the week went by pretty fast. I'm beginning to get more and more homework and having to study harder in NYU and I'm being reminded of how stressful school can be again. Julie, Jonathan and I enjoy having each other's company on campus. As for Micheal he and I don't really speak, just glance over at each other every once in a while, but that's all.

As I make my way to my fifth period class, I feel strong arms grab me from behind and pick me up.

"Hey beautiful." Jonathan says as our lips lock in a kiss.

"So apparently I heard from some of the other students in Journalism that they have to do some sort of project, so I'm guessing that we have to do the same." Jonathan explains to me. Great, just what I needed I mean I know that I'm in college and that I should expect to get a lot of work but the idea of having to balance that, my other classes, and work scares me.

I give Jonathan a sarcastic "yay" he laughs, and we continue our walk to class.

When we finally get inside of our huge classroom Jonathan and I go to our usual seats, and the first thing that I notice is that Micheal is already there. Great. I get my belongings ready for the next hour and then our professor Mr. Miller quiets down the class.

"Good Afternoon students, as you know this week has been mainly about the introduction to newspaper articles as well as examples of one. Today I will be assigning you your first project which is to get into teams of 3 and write a newspaper article that is worthy enough to be in our school newspaper."

Oh. That isn't so bad, I love writing, so I should be able to complete this pretty fast, the only catch is coming up with a topic. I look over to Jonathan and he gives me a warm smile.

"So, our team will be me you and Micheal" he tells me, and I smile in agreement with him but really, I just want to throw a chair at Micheal for being in our group. I mean why couldn't it have been teams of 2 where it could have just been Jonathan and I, no life hates me, so it has to be 3.

The rest of class is spent of us planning what we are going to write, and we decided on something basic which is 20 tips on how to be a great student and survive college life. And with that our first official week of college is over.

On my way to work, I receive a text message from April

April: Hey girl! Great news, Ms. White is letting you go back to the front to take orders and make coffee. She says that multiple co-workers and customers were requesting for you to be back. Congrats and your welcome ;)

A huge sigh of relief goes through me. I absolutely hated working in the back, I had no one to interact with, while my other colleagues had each other and serving customers. I'm just happy to know that this nightmare is over.

April welcomes me back with a huge hug and smile, as do my other friends. I happily begin to take people's orders and satisfy them with their caffeine.

"Where's Sarah?" I ask her in confusion, not seeing her anywhere.

"She said something about not being able to make it today because she had to stay late in Columbia, but she wanted me to pass the message to you." She tells me. I'm even more relieved at the fact that the devil isn't here to make work miserable for me once again.

When April and I finish work, we head outside to this little park next to Starbucks and sit on the benches.

"Crystal if you don't mind me asking, why does Sarah dislike you so much?" she asks me in a confused tone. I knew that this topic would come up eventually, I just haven't really known her for long and don't know if I should trust her so quickly.... but she did help me get back to my original position.
