big reveal

as we were done with the whole ordeal, we decided to go to jungah's house

"yaaa!! i didn't know that you can do that! it was so cool, i swear" jungah said. her eyes were sparkling with admiration. " you saved me!" she said patting my back abit too hard that i stumbled front.

"no.. thankyou jungah yaa.. sorry i got us in trouble." i said starting to regret what i did. i took a deep breath and shook my head.

"no worries we're actually not scared of them." amusement felt the atmosphere as we laughed in unison.

"what do you mean?" i asked.

"you'll see in jungah's house. oh and we're gonna meet her brother!" jieun said excitedly.

"what happened beetween you and beomgyu sunbaenim anyway?" they asked me

"beomgyu? i'm lost.. who is he?"

"the guy just now" jungah replied.

"uhm i bumped into him.."

"wth?! why make such a big problem from it?" jieun said.

"well i actually landed on top of him and eventually that guy beomgyu got angry. and when i cursed he thought i was cursing at him and he got angry."

"holy crap!" they both exclaimed. their eyes wider with every word i uttered. i must say it was a crazy day.

they finally arrived in jungah's house after a bit of a race. childish we know but at least it's fun. we were panting and laughing while we entered the house. i realised at it was huge.. well not as huge as mine, not to brag.. but i acted as if i was surprised, fascinated by the size of it in comparison to its neighbours. i didn't want to freak them out by acting non chalant. so i acted like how a normal school student would. shocked.

jungah's had a tint of pink on her cheeks but she brought us in anyways. we got in and a guy was standing in front of the entrance door. he ran up to jungah and hugged her.

"oppaaaaa!! did you just got back? why did you have to leave so long?!" jungah pouted rushing to hug him.

i guess that's jungah's brother, well he looked familliar.. ugh this small reunion reminds me of taehyung oppa.. i almost forgot that he went on a bussiness trip. when will he be back anyways? while i was lost in my thought, the guy answered his little sister.

"i was not out that long you drama queen" he poked he cheek. "the hyungs and i were busy okay! they are all inside come and say hi.." he slunged his hand on his sister's neck and turned to jieun "oh and jieun, your brother's waiting." he then turned to the unfamiliar face in the room. mine. "oh and.. you must be taerin.. jungha told me a lot about you." jungha's brother smilled.

i smilled at him awkwardly and followed jieun not wanting to disturb the two siblings.

"didn't know that you would play with a nerdy type." i heard jungha's brother said from behind us. he couldn't say it any louder. i shrugged. i mean, that means my cover is working very well.

"she's not like what she looks like trust me.." jungha said.

i smilled after hearing that. jungah really warms my heart. she's a really good friend that i would trade my whole world for if i didn't have her now.

as we enterred the entrance hall we can already hear the loud noises coming from the living room. chatters of men. i entered and saw 6 guys either sitting on a couch or on the floor. but my eyes was darted at one guy.. taehyung oppa. at the corner of my eye i can see jieun running towards one of the guys and hugging him while the guy pat her back. i guess that's her brother.

my brain had just processed everything. my bestfriends' brothers are friends with my brother. 7 guys in one room. this is bts... my brother showed me their picture once and told me their names. but i never met them in person. my mouth formed an 'o' as all the puzzle pieces clicked in place.

"yo.. earth to taerin..." jungah was waving her hand. at that exact moment taehyung just noticed me and exclaimed in his usual cheery voice.

"taehee ahhhhhh~~!!"

my eyes widened as i put my index finger on my lips and frantically signalled to him to shut the fuck up.

everyone looked at us weirdly. taehyung looked at me with a confused expression written everywhere on his face then he looked at his surrounding and clasped his hand on his mouth. he shouldn't have said that.

"uh.. bro? you drunk?" one of the guys that i recognize as jieun's brother asked him, i think his name's jimin.

"uhmm.. maybe?" taehyung said his eyes shaking.

"we didn't even drink.." the tallest of them all said, i think his name was namjoon.

i raised my hand and surrendered. the people in the room was more confused than ever. silence filled the room as people were trying to figure out what just happened.

"what's happening?" asked the guy that i noticed was hoseok.

the atmosphere became tense.

"my real name is not actually taerin it's taehee.. and i'm taehyung oppa's little sister.." i said.

jungah pulled jieun's and my hand and we went into her room. she dragged us up the stairs to the second floor along the corridor on the right and she brought us into a room in the right side. the she pushed the huge wooden doors to reveal a beautiful room. it was too pink for my taste but it was pretty.

"okay.. so.. what's happening?" jungah asked. her expression was moulde into a confused and   utter disbelief.

"why didn't you tell us anything?! i thought we were friends! i thought we trusted each other! guess you don't trust us after all huh.." jungah was practically huffing with anger at that moment. her shoulder raising up and down. i tensed. this was not the reveal i was hoping for. it was too sudden, unplanned.

"i-i.. i'm sorry i hadn't been completely honest with you guys.. really i didn't mean it that way at all.. i was just-" i said before jungah cut me off again.

"you were just what huh?! covering up yourself from your friend? what kind of excuse is that? you could've told us and we could've helped you!" jungah practically yelled. frustration fuming from her as she glared at me. her expression hostile and she was standing away from me.

"i-i'm sorry.." i was starting to tear up a bit. this shouldn't be how i would reveal to my friends. who thought it was a good idea to keep it away from them? i knew it was going to be revealed one way or another but she didn't mean to hurt any of them.

"that's enough jungah.. she's just trying to blend in. so what if she didn't tell us her secret? she has her reasons and it's her rights wether she wants to tell us or not." jieun said looking at me with concerned eyes and back at jungah " stop being so selfish! we've only been friends for a few months anyway! please understand her situation!" i looked at jieun in gratitude for standing up for me, although i knew she was also hurt.

jungah stormed out the room and went to who knows where. i was feeling really down after witnessing what had unraveled in front of me.. and it was caused by my selfish reasons. why didn't i tell them in the first place?
