the ride

"uh.. what do you want?" i asked.

"you want me to walk you home?" he asked.

"no.. it's okay my house is far away.." i said.

"i-i insist.." he said rubbing the back of his neck.

i shrugged. his cute smile flashed for a second. shit did i say cute? no.. i mean he is a bit cute? i guess? i flushed a bit. he took me to the parking lot and we got to his car.

"i thought we're walking." i said.

"well, you said it's far.. plus it's just an expression." he said.

i rolled my eyes.

"don't do that too often.. it'll get stuck." he blurted out.

i giggled for the first time in front of him, "뭐(what)?!" i said.

he smilled again even wider this time and i can feel my heart flutter. i feel soft..

the ride home was kinda awkward. i told him my adress and he just drove. focusing on the street. i stared out of the window trying to distract myself until i finally arrived at home.

i bid him goodbye and went in through the gate, but before i could he pulled my hand and i got pulled to his chest. well.. i was jungshook (a/n: gotta include that). i could feel my cheeks burning up and i can feel his heart beating quickly almost as quick as mine. i quickly pull away and he looked away. our faces burning hot.

"uhh.. t-taehee-ya.." he called.

"y-yeah?" i stuttered.

"y-you left your water bottle.." he said still shocked.

"ohh.. yeah, thanks, and thanks for the ride." i smilled awkwardly my face still a tomato.

"no problem.." he smilled and quickly entering his car after a wave. i waved back and went into my house and i heard the engine start and he left.

taehyung oppa and hyunjin are both standing next to each other on the terrace.

"ooohh who's that??" hyunjin nudged me while wiggling his eyebrows.

"stop it!" i blushed.

"i didn't know you like beomgyu.." taehyung said.

"uhh cuz i don't" i said trying to hide my embarassment. i dont know bout my feelings anymore. it feels tingly.

"wait.. you know him?!" sudden realization hit me.

"yeah.." tae oppa said shortly.

"dafuq?!" hyunjin and i both said.

"okay, now i gotta go!" tae oppa said standing up.

"where are you going?" i asked.

"there's another meeting.. we're planning a huge project." he said while gathering his things.

"alright, byeee, goodluckk!!" we both waved our hands as he went into one of the cars.

"kay.. now! time to catch up!" hyunjin said immediately after my brother left.

we often have this heart to heart talk, but it became difficult to do these things because he studied abroad. that's why i was so damn happy when i figured out that he'll stay for a month or so.

"what did i miss?" he said as soon as we sat on the sofa in my room.

"a lot.. where'd you want me to start."

he paused for a while before saying, "let's start with the boy, shall we?" with a mischievious smile plastered on his face.

"why?" i said my ears heating up.. wait.. why am i blushing?!

"wooo.. somebody's getting shyy" hyunjin cooed.

"입 닥쳐(shut up)!" i said stomping my feet.

"owkay.. tell mee! you're making me curioussss!" he said impatiently. he's trying to do aegyo. i looked at him weirdlu but decide to tell him.

"well.. i guess.. he's cute.." i said quietly.

"oh crap! finally you like someone after elementary school!" he said laughing.

i rolled my eyes but laughed with him instead.

"what about you? any gals?" i asked. it's my turn to tease now.

he suddenly stopped and i can see tint of red on his cheeks.

"tell meeeee!!" i whined.

"i'll tell you.. someday.." he said.

"ahhhh!! 나가주세요(please get out). you're not allowed to be my friend anymore." i said with a pout.

"fine" and he walked to the door.

"wait! no! i was kidding!!" i said.

and we laughed again. our relationship is like this. lots of laughter and weirdness. he is like another brother to me.. and i don't know how i will survive without him.
