Third Person POV.

Fast forward 3 months.

That's right, 3 months.

Ash and Serena have finally mastered the basics. A month and a half to master aura spheres, and a month and a half to master telekinesis. Through lots of training and battling, they've done it.

Now, they're going to split apart. Why? They both have week missions that are bringing them away from the castle.

Serena is going to catch and train a Gardevoir. She's going to find a Gardevoirite.

Ash is going to test and see if his Greninja has battle bond. This will take a long time. It'll be decided through tests between the Pokémon and trainer. They must be in perfect sync 24/7. If they're not, even when they're sleeping, it means they won't have battle bond.

They've been maturing very quickly as well.

Serena doesn't care if someone calls her madam anymore. Truthfully, she isn't as playful because she hasn't left the castle.

Ash... he's maturing a lot, too. Sir Ash is typical around him. He's been offering to hold Serena's hand like a gentlemen. Ash always kisses it before he leaves Serena (or Serena leaves him) like typical royalty couples.

The problem here is if you want that to happen.

Do you like Serena and Ash acting like this, or do you hate it?

Do they even seem like themselves anymore?

Of course they don't. They shouldn't seem like themselves. They're royalty. Royalty isn't some innocent school kids. They're important to society, and if they seemed playful, it would seem like they wouldn't care.

Serena shines in ballgowns now. Ash and Serena definitely know how to dance around the ballroom. Now, Serena wears gloves and earrings because she wants to show a good image.

It's her new identity.

She's a princess, of course she loves makeup and jewels.

Ash wore a suit the other day for no reason at all. He wanted to look like his dad. He wanted to see his dad by looking at himself. He wanted to see someone he cared about. Ash wanted to see someone he lost before he was even born.

Serena's growing her hair out. It's becoming wavy and beautiful, especially with the little diamond tiara she puts on top of her golden blonde hair.

The only time they become themselves is when they're alone in a room. Serena strips all of her jewelry off. Not clothes dirty-minded ones. Ash quickly changes out of his suit into some casual clothes. If he feels like it, Ash sometimes walks around shirtless, because why not?

They both know secretly in their minds that they can't get used to it. They're going to leave soon so they can defeat Lysandre. Then, everything would be normal again. They can become their typical selves.

Or will they?

Right now, they don't know which of their identities to be. Do they be the dream princess/prince and dance around the halls in their beautiful/handsome outfits, famous and rich, and have everyone love them and care for them? Or, do they be the dirty yet lovingly poor teenagers wandering the woods, enjoying adventure and fun?

Serena's POV.

"Good day, sir," I bowed, as the guard left my service.

My gloves were making my hands sweat, but I had to give a good image to the aura users.

Ash and I were wandering around the aura user village as we could once a week. After this, we'd be going off with our mentors away from each other for a week.

I blew strangers kisses, and took pictures with many young girls. My ballgown stretched along half of the road, picking up a lot of dirt and dust. Ash held my hand as we were drowning in cheers, claps, and whistles.

"You look pretty today, Serena." He smiled.

"You look handsome yourself, Ash," I chuckled.

Soon enough, we found Valencia sitting in front of the road.

"Valencia, how's your day?" I asked.

"I waited for you everyday until noon, but you were too obsessed with your fame to remember?" Valencia replied.

"I'm very sorry, Valencia, we thought you wouldn't come down. We remembered late the first day we had training. Truly sorry," I responded formally.

"You don't seem sorry," Valencia growled.

"Please, Valencia, leave us alone. There's no reason for you to get so angry over something you should've drawn a conclusion too," Ash sighed.

"Are you sure about that?" Valencia asked. "I'm sure there's plenty of reasons."

"Valencia, we don't want to get mad at you," I replied.

"Pfft, sure. My life doesn't matter to you royals. Serena's sitting here with her gigantic dark blue ballgown with her long golden hair, and Ash is over here with a black suit and tie. Pathetic! When I saw you the first time, I taught you special training only the best of aura users deserve," Valencia growled.

"We've done this to give a gorgeous image to the royal family."

"It was ruined once your dad ran away," Valencia argued.

"What are you trying to accomplish?" Ash asked.

"Let's just move around her, Ash," I whispered. "She's being a huge jerk."

"Agreed," Ash whispered back.

We quickly moved around Valencia. We walked down the road. The dust on the back of my ballgown (which was dragging on the road) covered Valencia in dirt.

"You'll pay for this!" Valencia yelled.

"Please, ignore her, Ora. Valencia is very immature, and she doesn't know what's best for her. Us royalty do care about your lives, and we try to benefit you everyday. We love you all very much. That concludes our visit down here this week. I hope you'll see us the week after next week. We love you all, and we will see you again," I announced.

Ash and I's gloves hooked onto each other as we walked down the road. We soon walked up to the portal. You could only enter one person at a time. I went in first, which made Ash's and my hands unhook. Ash kissed my hand before I walked into the portal.

"I love you, Ashy." I smiled.

"I love you too, Sere," He replied.

"I love you too, Sere," He replied
