Two weeks passed, Dawn and I have only gotten closer. I've been talking with Gary a bit more, too. School's been boring and easy.
I was sitting in Professor Rowan's Pokèmon Stats class. Gary and Dawn sat next to me.
"You should meet Ash, Serena. He's been a good friend to Dawn and me, and somehow you haven't met," Gary announced.
"Huh? W-why?" I replied.
I've seen his face in many of my classes, we've just never had a good opportunity to "meet".
"Because he's both of our friends! And if you meet him, we can have a cool four-way friendship circle!" Dawn chirped.
"You're so lucky he's not in here right now," I mumbled. "Anyways, sure, I'll meet him. It sounds like you guys have had this planned out for awhile."
"Well, we told Ash this same speech earlier," Gary shrugged.
"It would be pretty weird if you said no," Dawn chuckled.
"What did he say?" I asked, shocked that Ash said yes.
"He was like, 'Sure, no harm in meeting her', or something like that," Gary answered.
"Oh, okay." I smiled.
"He has a girlfriend named May," Dawn explained.
"Thank the lord, no more teasing," I chuckled.
"He seemed a little... weird... with her recently, though. It's like they've just lost interest," Dawn replied.
"I can clarify that. They don't have any classes together, so it's not surprising," Gary added.
"Never mind, then," I sighed. "Whatever, when am I 'meeting him'?"
"Don't you guys have next class together?" Dawn asked.
"Right," I nodded.
"So why's that even a question?" Dawn chuckled.
"We won't be there, though," Gary shrugged. "Maybe that's why she was confused."
"Yep," I replied.
The bell rang for us to leave Pokèmon Stats class.
"Alright, I'll see you guys later." I smiled.
I left the classroom, and started walking to Pokèmon Performing class.
Ash wasn't a huge performer, but he was forced to take performing or contest class. It was required for all new students. That's why I'm taking Pokémon Battling. It's a fun class, though. I saw Ash use his Greninja in a ton of ways I never knew were possible.
