Serena's POV.

Luna and I ate breakfast the next morning quicker than I've ever ate before. I was eager to get my new Pokémon. A new friend, a new journey.

"Ready to catch Ralts?" Luna asked.

"I'm more than ready! Are we leaving camp here?"

"Yep." Luna nodded. "Come on, there's a rare chance you'll find a Ralts so we better get one quick!"

"Right." I smiled, and dashed off.

Luna sprinted after me, and we were soon running in the depths of the route.

"I found one! Why's it blue?" I asked, looking at the Ralts.

"Holy- that's a shiny Ralts! You want that one," Luna explained.

She scanned her Pokédex on the Ralts.

"It even has the nature modest! You need to get that Ralts now," Luna replied. "Here, take this quick ball. Usually, us mentors will let our students figure out how to catch it, but sense this is a Pokémon that can run away very easily by teleporting, I'll have to show you."

"Okay." I nodded. "You don't have to show me anything."

I threw the quick ball at the Ralts. Since the PokèBall was thrown on the first turn of the battle, it increased the chance of it catching.

Ralts quickly obliged and stayed in the PokèBall.

"I caught it!" I smiled.

I dashed over to the PokèBall. I picked it up, and looked back at Luna.

"Is the rest of today going to be training?" I asked.

"Yup. Take this, it's an exp booster," Luna replied.

She tossed me a light blue machine.

"Thanks. Do you have the mega stone already?" I asked.

"Of course not," Luna giggled. "You'll have to find the keystone and the mega stone yourself."

"But that'll take forever," I sighed.

"Not really, it'll only take 2 days," Luna shrugged. "The Gardevoirite is conveniently right next to the keystone area."

I nodded. "Okay then. Ralts, come on out!"

"Ralts," It mumbled.

Ralts looked around towards me. At the start, it was still, and had no reaction. Afterwards, it smiled and jumped up on my shoulder.
