Sorry if Chapter 14 seemed like a longshot with the bomb and everything. Remember, this book throws out random things all over the place. Good or bad, you dunno. That's the fun part of writing this book. Sometimes, the events are foreshadowed. Sometimes, they're not. Just pay attention to every detail, and you might be able to predict what's going to happen next!

Ash and I watched Dawn and Gary safely make it to (what I now knew as) Viridian City.
"Thanks for getting us out of there in time," Dawn started. "All of our family died, though."
"Team Flare's stupid," Ash replied. "They did that. My Lucario warned us beforehand, though. We texted you as soon as we knew."
"Yeah.." Gary sighed.
He was taking heavy breaths from all the running.
"I really wish our parents had phones," I replied. "If they did, maybe they could've gotten out of the city on time, too."
"Yeah, everybody just died," Dawn sighed. "My parents and I didn't have a good relationship, though."
"I'll miss mine... my grandpa is dead now. Ashborne High will never be the same once it's rebuilt," Gary responded.
"I'm sure we've all lost something today," Ash announced.
"Yeah," I replied. "It's just like my dad, though. We can't cry for the rest of our lives or push each other away. We're friends, we're always there for one another. Got it?"
Everyone nodded, and soon there was a moment of silence.
"Now what?" Ash asked.
"Simple, we need to kill everyone in Team Flare, or else more shit like this is going to happen," I explained.
"How is that simple?" Dawn asked.
"Well first off, since you guys aren't aura guardians, you can't come," Ash stated. "You guys would be in pure danger, and you couldn't defend yourselves."
"But I want to help you!" Dawn argued.
"He's right, Dawn. You don't want to die, do you?" Gary asked.
He gave Dawn and little kiss on the cheek which calmed her down a little bit. Ash and I looked at each other with a, oh right. They don't know that we're together yet, look.
"No," Dawn sighed.
"We don't want to leave you guys behind, but that's the only option," I stated.
"Are any of you good with hacking?" Ash asked.
They looked at him with questionable looks.
"Why?" Gary asked.
Ash brought out the tracker device.
"I thought you left that," I growled in a whisper.
"This is a tracking device that's been tracking our every movements. If you leave the device here, you can hack into it and find out what Team Flare's going to do next. If you leave it here, then the tracker will make it look like we're staying in Viridian City, which isn't the case," Ash explained.
"I can hack. I'll do it." Gary nodded. "Even if it means risking my life, it's worth it. Team Flare isn't going to bomb anymore towns until they're done with me."
Ash nodded in response.
"Alright, we should probably go to sleep now. Where are we going to do that?" Dawn asked.
"In the Pokémon Center. They have bedrooms, remember?" Ash replied.
Ash took my hand, and we walked through the doors of the Pokémon Center. Gary and Dawn looked at us suspiciously.
"You know, we haven't ever seen you guys kiss before," Dawn shrugged.
We turned around to look at Gary and her.
"Really?" Ash asked.
"Wait, why aren't you freaking out?" Dawn asked.
He kissed me on the cheek and we grinned. We turned around and walked to the next floor of the Pokémon Center with held hands. Dawn and Gary just stood still on the ground floor, shocked.
"Are you guys coming?" I asked, shouting from floor 1.
"R-right!" Gary yelled.
They started sprinting up the stairs. Ash and I decided to start looking for a room on the floor we were on.
"Each room has 2 beds, so either 2 of us can sleep in one room and 2 of us sleep in the other, or all of us can sleep in one room, and the couples can sleep in the same bed," Gary explained. "I personally like option 2 better."
Ash and I blasted into laughter.
"I think option one's good," I giggled. "Pervert."
"I am not a pervert!" Gary yelled.
"See look, even Serena agrees!" Ash chuckled.
"I choose option 1," Dawn laughed. "Gary you're hilarious."
"Thank you, baby," Gary replied.
Dawn and Gary took the room on the left of the corridor. Ash and I took the one on the right.
"This is pretty decent," I shrugged.
Two twin beds were on the sides of the room. A fan with a broken light was sitting on the ceiling. A trash can and a desk were next to each other in the back corner of the room. There was also a balcony.
"Good enough," Ash chuckled.
"Be honest with me, are you okay after that bomb?" I asked.
Ash paused for a few seconds.
"No," He admitted, collapsing on his bed.
I sat next to him. "I'm not either."
A silent tear fell down Ash's cheek. He looked at his arm, specifically his glove. A key stone was sitting on it.
"What will happen if Lysandre kills me or you? What will the other do?"
