Chapter 8

After sorting out her new living situation with the boys. Jimin took her to her new room as Tae trailed behind. It was a bit smaller than her room at her parents house. Unlike Tae's room, the walls were an eggshell color. Looking around, it seemed they used the room for storage. But underneath all of the boxes she could see a bed frame, a dresser and desk

She smiled without realizing, she loved it.

"I know it looks rough but me and the others will move all the boxes out today and by tomorrow I can buy you a bedspread and whatever else you need." Jimin said

She turned to Jimin happily. "I can never thank you enough Jimin." Her brother smiled in response. She then looked at Tae who stood in the doorway, "you too Tae, if I had never met you I would of never been reunited with my brother." Tae only nodded, his face expressionless, but when he looked up at her his eyes conveyed so much more. 

At that Jimin looked at Tae as well, he was still uncomfortable with the atmosphere between his friend and his sister. But Joy was right, Tae had done him a great service. "Thank you Tae, sincerely, for helping my sister." 

Tae looked up in surprise, he looked back down shyly, playing off the intense atmosphere with a smile. "You guys are embarrassing me,  you dont need to thank me. I'm glad everythings worked out." 

Joy smiled. Cute

Suddenly a ring came from Jimins jean pocket, he pulled out his phone and frowned at the screen. "is it already 11:45am?" He looked at Joy and back at his phone and let out a stressful sigh. 

"Somewhere you need to be?" She asked curiously.

"Yeah.... the thing is, I have a 12 o'clock class I teach today." 

Joy raised her eyebrows, "a class?" she wondered aloud.

Jimins expression changed to one of excitement. "Oh yeah I think you overhead a bit about it earlier, but I co-own a dance studio with some of these guys. I cant wait to show you around you're gonna love it!" 

Joy smiled, proud of her brother. "I cant wait to see it." She said. "You should go then, it's your business." 

Jimin looked wary "But-" 

"Jimin" she said." I'll be okay here until you get back, I'm not going anywhere." 

Jimins eyes flickered between the clock on his phone and his sister. He looked at the bruise on her cheek and no doubt the bruises that must lay under her clothes. He was conflicted. But that studio was his only source of income, he couldnt exactly take care of his sister if he cant make money. He sighed "Okay I'm leaving, I'll be back in a few hours but Soo make sure to ice your bruises okay? and put some disenfectant on your cuts, also dont forget to drink lots of fluid and get some rest, I'm serious-"

"Jimin." she laughed. Ignoring the soreness of her belly, "Go, I'll see you later."   

Jimin sighed and nodded. "Okay, see you later Soo." He gave her one last concerned look before walking to the doorway where Tae still stood. Before leaving the room Jimin stopped and leaned in close to Tae. He kept his voice low so Joy wouldnt overhear. "Take care of her please." 

Tae watched Joy, who was still looking around her room in awe, when answering Jimin. "Of course, man. You can count on me." Jimin nodded, clapping Tae on the shoulder before leaving.

After Jimin left, Tae continued looking at Joy in a comfortable silence. He watched as she gently traced her fingers over the dusty desk, covered in boxes of crap, with an awed look on her face. As she continued looking around the small room a smile formed on her lips. Tae smiled at her reaction. How could she find this place so impressive?
