I got woken up by a low,rasphy voice just above my head.

''Love...''whispered Joey.

''Oh My God Joey!How did you get in here?!?!''I sat up at once,eyes adjusting to the light.

''Your Nana let me in''he smirked.''I think she knows about us''

''Yeah I kinda told her.But Oh God,I'm such a mess.This is embarrasing.''

Just as I was about to jump out of the bed and fix myself,Joey pulled me closer and gave me a short,but meaningful kiss.

''Wait a second Miss...I love the way you are.You don't need all the make-up,honestly''

''Well thats your opinion.Others wouldn't want to see the monster version of me''I smiled while picking up some clothes out of the wardrobe.I searched and searched.Moving from one shelf to the other,thinking what Joey said.After re-doing this progress at least three times I decided on my green dress with pink rose design.                                                                                                                      I braided my hair into a perfect french plat while Joey stared with amazment.Considering my luggage was small,I didn't have a lot of shoes to pick from.The most suitable ones were my black converse.I like it like that...A descent dress with converse.

''Joey Nana will probably want me to go to the shops for some fresh bread.Wanna come?''I asked.

''I have to.Or else someone might fall in love with you...By the way we're going over to my house at 2.For dinner like.And well I want you to meet my parents.Watcha think?''

Well this took me by surprise.

''Ok,but they know about us yeah?''I asked being the weirdo I am.

''Yeah.Of course.''He smiled.

''Right.We better go now or else Alan will starve to death''

Just before leaving my room Joey grabbed my hand and clunched it in his.So he does want everybody to know;I thought .Never the less Grandad appeared in the hallway.I secretly wished he didn't.I knew that he would pop out with some akward joke.

''Hi kids''he said cheerfully.I guess his football team won a match.

''We're just going to get some bread.Want something?''

''Naaah Izzybear but yous took a long time in there.I hope Joey didn't help you get changed Huh?''

''Grandad...''I said.See I knew it.........

''Only messing kids.Now yous better hurry up cause I won't be so nice if I remain hungry''

''See you Mr.John.''Joey added before we left the house.Tory was already outside,washing away her beautifuk red Volvo.

''Ah!Lovebirds!!!''She shouted just as we appeared on the porch.

''You jelaous?''I asked.

''No.Actually Ashtonis on his way''She answered.

Ashton.Tory's dear boyfriend.He is such a laugh.The first time he came to one of our barbeques and saw our family drunk he got a bit scared.But I don't blame him either.Our family gets a little cocky when their drunk so the poor fella had only me to talk to.

''Well have fun''I said.

''I'd wish you two the same but,I think yous are already having fun''

And with that we made our way across the train tracks and up the hill.Knowing that there are heaps of snakes here in Summer I refused to go first.Joey happily took the roll of a superman that prevents me from getting terribly bitten by the snake in my lower lip.He was actually pleased to take the roll of the snake also.Our story had a tragic end...I got bitten.
