As months past with the trio working together, the bikes were getting built with some shenanigans here and there. One being Vanessa finding a spider and jumping onto Jacob with a scream. Bella then saw it as she yelped and went to Jacob as well. The teenage boy laughed while he went to pick it up and show Vanessa while placing it right in front of her face. She screamed so loudly that the building shook, running away while Jacob chased after her while Bella laughed at her friends.

As Jacob was looking over Vanessa, who had a large grease stain over her right cheek and a hole in the shirt she was wearing near her shoulder from when it got caught in one of the gears. Bella saw this while she sighed, knowing she had lost her chance with the vampire girl after what she had done.

She had never meant for Edward to weasel his way into her heart and only him, but he did. And now Jacob was drooling over her while Vanessa could feel Jacob's gaze on her.

She looked to the boy, an eyebrow raised. "You going to help or just stare at me all day?" She asked while Jacob blushed, his eyes looking over the tools while handing her one as she giggled at his actions.

She got up and looked over the bikes, then outside to see rain falling down. She smirked and looked to Bella's phone. She got the idea quickly while she snatched it out of the girl's hands, the brunette gasping. "Vanessa!" She yelled, the woman running out into the rain while she through it into Bella's truck to make sure it wouldn't get completely soaked.

Jacob laughed so hard that he clenched his stomach, the girl glaring over the boy. "It's not funny. Vanessa, give my phone back!" She yelled at the girl, the accused girl looking towards the sky as her hair was getting drenched.

"I don't think I have to." She told her, feeling the rain droplets hit her skin. "Come on, Bells, have some fun." She told her, grabbing the girl's arm while she gasped into the cold rain.

"It's cold!" She yelled, running back inside while the woman rolled her eyes.

"Jacob? I know you'll join me." She teased, the boy looking over the outside area, a frown on his face.

"I won't, come on Nessa. You're going to catch a cold." He told her as she frowned.

"Please." She pleaded, using her puppy dogs eyes to show off the golden hue of her irises that had darkened because of the weather.

Jacob sighed, stepping out while she cheered. "You owe me." He told her while she went to grab his arm and dance with him.

"I know. But I've never danced in the rain." She told him honestly, the boy smiling slightly while the two just held each other in their arms while they danced, not stressing over exes or school, just how they looked in the rain.
