Walking towards Sam and Emily's house, Vanessa couldn't help but wonder how Bella was taking the news of Jacob being a werewolf. Or even knowing that werewolves existed in general. The vampire had tried to keep this secret for the pack since it wasn't her's to tell anymore. She looked to Jacob, seeing the boy smiling and joking around with Paul who was pushing him playfully right back. The girl rolled her eyes, of course the two who hated each other were now buddy buddy with one another. Sam looks down at Vanessa and frowned slightly as he looked over her face.

"Everything okay?" He asked, the girl nodding her head.

"Just worried as to how Bella's going to take it that I had to keep this from her. She's big on trust and this was a huge secret." She tried to explain to Sam who just waved it off.

"She'll be fine. Trust me." He told her, the girl bitting her bottom lip as Jacob came up next to her.

"Stop being nervous." He told her while she laughed.

"Wish it was that easy to just stop being nervous." She teased while he chuckled and lifted her up, causing her to squeal. "Jacob, put me down!" She yelled, slightly hitting him as he laughed.

"Not until you know that Bella is not going to be mad at you. She loves you." He told her while she smiled up at the wolf.

"I know, but she loves Edward more." She muttered, causing Jacob to roll his eyes.

"Edward has nothing on you, he's an asshole." He told her while she giggled at that.

"Edward an asshole, that's a new one." She told him while Jacob sighed.

"You should just forget about him, Nessa. He's not good for you after everything he's put you through. He wouldn't even let you see family for more than an hour." He tried telling her, but the girl was still set on Edward being an okay person, those feelings she had for over a hundred years won't go away in less than a month.

"I know, I'm trying." She muttered, looking to Jacob with a sad smile. "Thanks, this is why you're my best friend." She poked his cheek, the boy making a face while smiling after.

"I mean, that's what I'm here for." He told her as she nods her head.

"I'm your imprint, trust me, I won't do anything to hurt you." She whispered while hugging him. The boy set her down while they arrived closer to the house, and Vanessa could feel her nerves beginning to rattle in her body. She took a deep breath, smelling Bella's blood drift into her nose while Paul smirked knowingly.
