Chapter 5 ♡My body began to shoot in pain as blood began to pour out of my right side.
"Your shot." He whispered, I began holding my side with a tight grip hoping he wouldn't see the glow. I knew I was bout to be healed, almost on cue I could feel my skin regenerating itself and healing. "I'm fine." I whispered as he shook his head. "I'll get you to a hospital." He said as he grabbed my arm. "No!" I yelled instantly as the word hospital hit my ears. "I-I don't like hospitals." I lied. I have no idea what they would do, or see when they looked at my blood. Or maybe THE WOUND HEALED?"Can I go to my hotel now?" I asked as his eyes widened. "Okay um-I'll-ill just bring you to the lab." His hand went back to my shoulder as he was about to take off with me.
"Woah woah woah wait. What are you trying to do?" I let out in one small breathe as he looked like I was a ticking time bomb. "I'll run, I'll run you there. Okay?" His arm went back to my shoulder as his feet steadied."No." I whispered pushing his hand off. "Your going to die, you need help, and S.T.A.R Labs can help you okay." He attempted to calm himself down as before I could protest I was in a different place. It was a open area as the walls were white. I was in a bed as there was a long technical table in the middle of the room. It had colors, maps, and a suit on the panel followed with a large picture of the city.
"What the hell, I said no!" I yelled to the guy in a red suit still. "Why are you yelli-" a familiar voice stoped in his tracks as the guy with black hair to his shoulders almost dropped his twizzler out of his mouth. "Um. What are you doing here?" He asked me with wide eyes. "Ask your friend in a red costume." I snarked back, he gave The Flash a death stare. "What did you do man?" He gestured to me as the guy in the suit began to speak. "She was shot and I didn't know what else to do but bring her here."
"A hospital would have been fine." The guy with black hair replied."She didn't want to go there." He said quickly, "Where's Caitlin? She needs a doctor now."
The black head ran to his console and tapped buttons quickly, "Cait, we need you in here someones been shot." The guy in the red suit helped me to a bed even though I was fine.
"I'm fine." I whispered laying on the bed. I could see his green eyes show through the suit. A girl then rushed through the door with a bag of medical supplies, "Where was she shot?" She asked quickly making her way to me laying out her supplies on a table. She grabbed a lot of sharp stuff, "Shoulder." The guy in the mask said. She took off my hoodie. "Hey!" I yelled.
She scanned my shoulder as she turned her head."Cisco, she wasn't shot." Caitlin said as the red suit guy defended it, "Yea she was. I watched it." I sat up re-putting my hoodie on. "Like I said, I'm fine."
With a huff I attempted to get off of the bed, "You was shot, now your fine?" Caitlin asked. "Yes, I'm fine." Again I tried to get off of the bed but she stood in front of me.
"Listen, we need to make sure that if the partial accelerator affected you, that it doesn't have any bad effects." Her eyes filled with worry."What's a particle accelerator?" My voice starting to get choppy.
"She's not from around here, so she couldn't be affected by the accelerator." Cisco helped explaining. "How long have you been like this?" She asked.
"Since I was 5." I got up and pushed my way through Caitlin and the Flash.
"How's that even possible?"
"I don't know, okay. But nobody can know this. Last thing I want is everyone to know I'm a freak." I started walking out of the hall with a that thought hanging over me. 'Freak'.
I can never be normal.... I thought.Footsteps followed behind me as it was the masked guy. "Yea?" I asked turning to him. He looked down at the white tiled floor of the hallway and back at me. "I was just like you. I didn't ask for this, but you can't be afraid of it."
"I'm not afraid of it, I'm tired of it." I whispered in a low voice.
"Will you come back here, so maybe we can do some testing? Just to make sure your okay." I wanted to yell no and runaway, running away is what I always liked to do with my problems though. But Liz wouldn't run away. "Yea." I whispered again as I began to walk off. A hand touched my shoulder, "Your not alone." He said. "I know."
