Chapter 6 ♡

I began to wish I didn't break the mirror a few nights ago, it took a while to get all of the shards and pieces cleaned up. I don't even know how I was suppose to explain the mirror being gone to them, maybe I'll just leave the hotel, leave some extra bucks, and find a new place?

I changed into a black outfit so I could walk around the city. I wasn't going to get distracted while running or go into any alleyways, I've learned my lesson. Trust me.

I think I'm going to go get some coffee, maybe meet some people, then I have to go to S.T.A.R Labs today, ugh. I wish I didn't get shot in front of the Flash dude, because now 3 people know I'm a freak. Cisco, Caitlin, and the Flash. What even is the Flash? Like what does he even do? I thought to myself as I began to leave my hotel room, swinging my keys on my ring finger.

When I locked my door I felt someone bump into me, "Oh I'm sorry." A teenager said, she wore a awkward smile as she put her phone up. "I wasn't watching where I was going, my fault." I nodded and smiled back. "It's okay."

"I guess I'm your neighbor for a bit, huh?" Her blonde hair looked as if the sun was in the hotel hallway. "I guess I am." I smiled politely as she extended her arm, "Sydney." I shook her hand, "Emma." Her lips parted to let in another sentence a middle aged women yelled, "Sydney, get your ass in here!" Down the hotels hallway.
"That's my cue, see you around." She smiled as she bounced away. She reminds me a lot like Liz, no matter what situation she was in she was tough, and she always wore a smile on her face.

I began to walk down to the lobby when a sound began to ring in my head, I looked around to find the source but, I couldn't. Suddenly, I jolted up in my bed, I was in my hotel room. I shook my head at the weird dream as I changed into my black outfit to walk in. My plans today is go get coffee, meet some new people, and go to S.T.A.R Labs. I got a chill in my spine from my dream, same plans? Okay?

I began to lock my door I felt someone bump into me, my eyes darted up, it was her, with her same bright blonde hair. She tucked her phone away in her pocket. "Oh I'm sorry." She said with a awkward smile, same as my dream. "I wasn't watching where I was going, my fault." "It's okay." I uttered in attempting not to freak out. "I guess I'm your neighbor for a bit, huh?" She asked as she twirled her hair. "I guess I am." I smiled politely as she extended her arm out to me, "Sydney." I slowly shook her hand as I was hesitant on mine. What if this is all a dream, again? "Emma." I said slowly.

She was about to speak again when a women yelled from down the hall. "Sydney, get your ass in here!"
"That's my cue, see you around." She smiled and bounced away. I stood so still I felt like I was glued in place, what do I even do? Should I ask her, or would she even know anything? What was that? I slowly walked to the lobby as I was still wondering how it all happened.

I entered the coffee shop giving my order, I slid into a empty booth and hoped I wasn't going crazy, that's all I could do. I tapped my nails against the table in thought, at S.T.A.R Labs they seemed more than willing to help me learn about all of this... maybe they can help make it disappear too. I jolted from the table as the next thing I knew I bumped right into Iris. She gasped loudly as the coffee started tumbling down.

I attempted to catch it when the weirdest thing happened.... everything stood still. My eyes jumped around, nobody was able to help me, everyone was frozen still, then I realized they was moving, just very very slowly. I glanced at the coffee, the liquid was like floating in midair as it fell. I reached and grabbed the cup as I caught the coffee in it, It was like jello, weird, shapeless jello. I sat it gently on her plate as suddenly everything started moving at normal speed.

Iris's looked around and smiled, "Flash, crime fighter, now coffee saver." She giggled. I wanted to throw up, or just pass out right then and there. "Yea w-what's The Flash?" My voice was already breaking a bit. I was curious what does she know about it, or maybe who it was.

"It's a guy, I think anyways. All I know is he saves the hero and has crazy fast speed, I even have a blog about him." I nodded as I gave her a 20. "For the coffee, I gatta get going." I didn't stop to hear her yell out to me, maybe to ask where I'm going. But I just walked.

When I got outside I started running, I was afraid and running was how I coped, I know Liz would never run away but I'm not her. I could never be. If she knew I was a freak she wouldn't even have wanted to know me. Would she?

That's when I realized the world was moving at a slow pace, there was weird electricity like blue daggers jolting around my feet. I just ran, I couldn't even focus on a thought, as if my mind was moving as fast as my feet. I needed to know what they knew, I needed to go to S.T.A.R Labs.
