No, sorry this isn't another part. I haven't been writing much recently, as the past few weeks our teachers have seen fit to give us extra homework AND a bunch of grade-defining-tests. Yippee.

On a more melancholy note, I feel that by the time you are reading this you have undoubtably heard about the recent tragedy in New Zealand in some way, shape, or form. For those of you who don't know, I live in New Zealand, in Christchurch, the exact place where a shooting has recently taken place. I won't get into it much, but basically at least four armed people stormed two mosques in Christchurch, one in town and one in Linwood. At least 40 people have been confirmed dead, and another 20 severely injured. I was in school at the time, and we were put in lock down for four hours. Thankfully, we were not too near town, where the majority of it took place, but I do have friends at a school only a five minute walk from the place the first shooting happened, and even more friends attending the Climate Strike in the nearby area. Luckily, no one I know was hurt, but many were not so lucky. No one in Christchurch goes unaffected by this, but some people undoubtably have it worse. I know I speak for myself and many others when I say I no longer feel safe walking the streets of my home.

However, horrific events aside, I am so thankful to you all for getting this story to over 3K reads. I realised it has gone past 3K at this point, so I am a little late in saying this, but thank you. I feel like people usually do like a big thing for this, so is there anything you guys would like to see? Perhaps something you'd like to know about me? Just comment anything you can think, and I can promise an update relatively soon, as I don't think I'll be going out this weekend... probably not even into my garden.

P.S
I encourage ALL of you to take part in the Climate Strike. Even if you can't attend the actual strike, there is a online petition you can sign. I would share the link, but I only have the one for NZ.
