APHMAU'S POV

The moment they materialised in the middle of a street, Aphmau knew where they were. Unfortunately, they were in the  middle of a road. A car swerved to avoid them, and a very angry looking driver got out.

"What are you doing!" He yelled, but then a look of shock crossed his face.

He stumbled back, bumping into his car.

"You," He stuttered, pointing at Aaron, "You're the Lucan kid, the Ultima!"

He yelled the last part, loud enough for the passing pedestrians and other drivers to hear. People began to pull over and climb out of their cars, some running away, others yelling at him. Aphmau noticed parents rushing their children away, and she wanted to tell them that they didn't have to be afraid, that all they had heard were lies, but she couldn't find the words, not that they would believe her anyway. Lizzie, having clearly noticed this, looked rather amused, and grabbed the hand of a rather uncomfortable looking Alina.

"Bye guys." Lizzie smiled, pulling her niece away.

"What.. where are you going?" Aphmau protested.

"To go dig up a grave in a town I haven't been in in Millenia. You can deal with all this." She said, getsuring to the chaos.

"I thought you were supposed to be my sister."

"I am. Now, lesson number one. This is me, and don't trust me, because I can be a real brat."

"At least help a little bit?" Aphmau called at Lizzie's retreating form.

Lizzie stopped and sighed, turning to face her. She was at the edge of the growing crowd. Sh muttered something about 'doing one nice thing and suddenly people thought that she was a charity'.

"Fine." She replied grudgingly.

She stepped back towards them and addressed the crowd.

"Listen up simpletons!" She yelled, a very effective way to get their attention, "I can say, whatever I want, because none of you are going to remember any of this, okay?"

The crowd had stopped yelling and were now murmuring among themselves, likely discussing what looked to be a teenager in old fashioned armour threatening them.

"For instance," Lizzie cleared her throat, "My name is Lizzie, and I'm a several thousand year old Divine being, the younger sister of your famed Lady Irene. My niece over here," Lizzie patted Alina on the back, "Is her very dead daughter."

Alina sighed and rolled her eyes, as if this was a normal occurrence. Aphmau and Aaron just stood there, watching what seemed like a car wreck in progress, not being able to tear their eyes away.

"Now, normally I wouldn't tell you this, however," Lizzie snapped her fingers, "I love magic."

One by one, like a dominos effect, every person who had seen them fell to the ground.

"Did you kill them?" Aphmau sqeauked.

"Nah." Lizzie shook her head, "Just knocked em out and erased their memory. We're good. Now dear sister, if you could, please be the magnet you were born to be."

"And, how exactly do I do that?"

Lizzie groaned.

"I swear you weren't this annoying last time I saw you."

"What?"

"Never mind. Just, concentrate. On your dead body."

"How do I do that?"

Lizzie shrugged, "I dunno, I ain't a doppelgänger."

Aphmau stood there for a long minute feeling stupid, searching for her 'dead body'. Nothing. Eventually she shrugged helplessly, to which Lizzie sighed yet again.

"I swear, you're all just helpless babies. Alina?"

Alina shut her eyes and stretched out her hands, muttering something Aphmau couldn't quite hear from where she was standing. When she opened her dark eyes once more, she smiled.

"I found it."
