The Reunion

*Lauren's POV*

My eyes flung open to see three familiar figures surrounding me. Sam sat one side of the bed while Dean on the opposite side, both with the same expression on their faces, while Castiel had his eyes on my baby bump.

The last I remembered before blacking out was that I stepped into a church, then I suddenly felt sick and passed out and now I'm in the guest room from Klaus's compound, surrounded and reunited with three amazing guys.

" Sam? Dean?" I sighed in relief and embraced them both into a hug,I then looked over at castiel and reached towards his sleeve, having him join the group hug as well. " I'm so glad to see you all.

"So are we." Sam smiles softly.

" And now you could go back on the road, just like old times."

I felt thrilled at the thought of being back on the road with my brothers again. Not only because I belong with them, but also because I urge to get the hell out of here. Lucifer is coming and I don't want to be here when he arrives.

Aside from that, I don't want to put anymore lives at risk. Klaus has already done enough for me. He let me stay here in the compound, and bought me clothes with the help from Rebekah and now with everything that's been going on.. I don't want them to be at risk of getting killed because of me.

" I'm afraid that won't be possible." Castiel speaks up.

" Well why the hell not? Our priority was to come get her and leave." Dean looks up at Castiel.

The angel sighed and narrowed down at the bump on my stomach. " Because the Nephilim will be born no later than tomorrow."

"And there's absolutely no way we're going to allow her to leave, not in her condition."Klaus barges into the room.

" But it'll be best if I do leave, your life and your siblings would be at risk if I stay here."I protested.

"I'm sorry Klaus, but this isn't your fight."

Klaus walks my way and takes my hand up to his lips. "I am well aware of the dangers that lies ahead.. And believe me the Mikealson family are well known to danger." The hybrid flashes a light smile at me.

I take a deep breath and nod. " thank you, Klaus."I reply without any further objection.

I still feel terrible that he's going to be in the middle of all the drama between my child, the angels and even Lucifer.. and I have a feeling that tomorrow is the day where its going to really be messy, and its also the day that I'm possibly am going to die.

*Klaus's POV*

I went straight to my room after discussing with the Winchesters about Lauren and the devil's love child.. We all agreed to protect Lauren and the baby from the angels and to be very cautious of any signs of the angels.

And in doing so, I had Freya create a barrier spell all over the compound, and in addition, we're taking turns on being on the lookout.

As for the angel in the trenchcoat, Dean had instructed him to keep a close eye on Lauren and not leave her out of his sight... Just in case if any unexpected visitors decide to magically break through the barrier spell.

I drop myself down to the bed and stare up at the ceiling. "Lauren.." I sigh softly. What have you done to me? Though she's merely a human and I am a thousand year old original hybrid, I feel like she had compelled me or put me under some sort of spell.

Its interesting how we just met yesterday.. being nothing more but strangers. And I who was attempting to seduce such a fine young woman. I knew there she was an odd one, but never would I thought that she'd be so much more to me. So much that I'm willing to protect he from harm's way.
