Some may ask themselves, "What if I get transported into another dimension? Or yet into a parallel universe?" What will it feel like?
Shane, a 15-year-old high school kid, shut-in and otaku, later discovered that he has recently died and was transported into a world parallel to ours by the Goddess of the afterlife.
We will join him as he embarks his journey into this undiscovered land filled with mysteries he has yet to solve. But, he is given a task by the Goddess to free the land from the chaos it is currently inhabiting, it is up to him to stop the chaos and grant peace to the land of Broughton.
But he was given a mysterious yet powerful ability that he has yet to discover, how will he release this said mysterious power within him? He will, later on, discover that on his own.
On the way, he will meet various adventurers from all across the land, companions that will assist him on his journey, rivals that are jealous of his power and will, monsters both small and puny to large and berserk, tiny slimes to massive dragons, fiendish ghouls and holy angels, and later on he will battle the Demon King to free the land from the chaos within.
Accepting quests, ranging from investigations from ruined temples to abandoned mineshafts, hunting green slimes to dire wolves, escorting the nobles, or just to deliver some booze to the strange man up in the hill.
Now, all that's left is to see how far our adventurer will go on his journey, will he be able to grant the Goddess's wish from freeing the land from chaos? Or will he join forces with the Demon King and wreak havoc all over the land?
