Malicious laughter filled the forest, causing the passive creatures and animals to flee. A gust of wind surrounds our location as a humanoid figure appeared in front of us. It had a mask with vastly different patterns, a robe in shreds and a huge staff with a skull with a pointed jaw with various feather's and other accessories hanging from it. From my experience in video games, this looks like a witch doctor! What is one doing out here?

Miss Faye backed up a little and mumbled something to herself I couldn't quite hear. She's trembling, what about this that's making her nervous?

Wait. Is this the witch doctor she was telling us about just now? I thought she defeated it 10 years ago! Why is it here? Moreover, Miss Faye's really shaking, she defeated her years ago, why is she scared?

"We meet again Faye..." The witch doctor said in a malicious tone.

"W-What are you doing here T-Tairona?!" Miss Faye shouted at her.

"What's the meaning of this?" I bumped in onto their conversation.

"Huh? Who is this puny human? Is he an acquaintance of yours?"

"He's none of your business Tairona! What are you doing here?!" Miss Faye shouted desperately.

"Why? Isn't it great to see your best friend after 10 years? I missed you Faye, and I'm glad that you're doing great."

Did she say best friend? What is her relationship with Miss Faye? I'm confused if I should believe her words or what, I just have to stand back for now.

"Tairona, look I can explain!"

"Explain what? I won't listen to your blabbering any longer Faye!"

She was chanting something I could barely hear. As strangely green-tinted flames surrounded her as they became much bigger.

"Prepare for the most welcoming gift you've ever received Faye! Wildfire!"

Green-tinted fireballs are raining down towards us, but I think Miss Faye has something up her sleeve as she shouted "Awaken! COLCHIS!" As she shouted, a magical mist surrounded us as a loud roar covered the air. A bronze bull with horns of silver and what looks to be rubies for eyes appeared from the sky protecting us from the attack.

Is this Miss Faye's avatar? Wait this seems familiar... Faye...? Stuss? Colchis, a mechanical bull? It seems familiar but I can't really recall what it is. But I'm sure I've heard of this atleast once in my life, was it in class or in a video game?

"Oh, I see you've finally mastered your avatar. Let's see if it can still fend off against mine! Come out and play with me! GORGONIA!" Violet mist surrounded her, concealing herself out of vision while we heard hissing and a giant dark-green snake with scales that look like thorns and huge fangs while its eyes glowed red emerged from the mist and attacked Miss Faye's avatar with its sharp fangs.

Unfortunately, thanks to its mechanical body the bull remained unscathed as the giant snake fled back to Tairona to regain energy.

"I see... Your avatar has gained a mechanical body..."

"I've gained a couple experience these past years, Tairona."

"So, did you like my gift Faye?"

"Oh, jeez... I loved it, and here's my gift too! Heaven's Gate!" Multiple swords surrounded us and it went flying in a blink of an eye towards Tairona. Her avatar quickly moved in front of her to block her swords with its scales, leaving in unscathed from her attack also.

It's just as they can't hurt one another with their own magic with the use of their own avatars. But, what are their relationship with one another? Miss Faye said she killed this infamous witch doctor called Tairona in her story but why is she here in front of us?

"You do know the scales of Gorgonia are as hard as steel right? You're puny swords can't even leave a dent on my avatar!" Tairona said followed by another malicious laugh.

"I just gave you your gift, did you like it?"

Is it just me, or are they turning more into bestfriends than enemies are just a while ago... They look like they're having fun... Destroying... each... other... Is that even what bestfriends do? Or is it just them?

"Oh! I loved it my dear bestfriend! I have something else for you!"

"Oh great! What is it then?!"

They continued like this for quite a while now... And it's just a miracle that the forest is still intact after all the destruction they've caused. Eventually they became tired and stopped and rested for a while. They collapsed to the ground right next to each other. Dazel and I rushed over to see what happened to them but as we approach them I gestured Dazel to stop so we can eavesdrop on their conversation.

"Hey Tairona, remember the times we battled like this when we were kids?"

"Y-Yeah, we would also collapse to the ground when we were tired out just like what we're doing here right now."

"The good old days..."

"Say Faye... I shouldn't hold this grudge any longer. That incident was 10 years ago, you're my bestfriends and I can't just wander around carrying a grudge over my bestfriend."

"I'm sorry Tairona. I didn't know!" Miss Faye quickly raises and tears shed from her eyes, trying to wipe off her tears Tairona raised as well and comforted her. Miss Faye hugged Tairona while crying out loud. Tairona continued to comfort her while patting her head. This looks like a Mother comforting her daughter...

I gestured at Dazel to go near and I'll just act as if we just arrived here. We rushed to them looking all worried.

"W-What happened? W-Why?" I tried to act confused.

"You see... U-Um, what was your name again?" Tairona asked while also looking confused at me.

"Shane, Miss Tairona."

"Oh Shane... You see Faye and I have been bestfriends when we were still young and energetic. I just wanted to come for a visit but this grudge from long ago had suppressed my emotions and made me insane."

"W-What kind of grudge?"

"Well you see, Faye didn't really kill me specifically."

"W-Wait a minute, there's another Tairona?"

"Exactly."

"Then, who is the Tairona that Miss Faye killed ten years ago?" I questioned her very confusedly. If she's not the Tairona that Miss Faye killed then who was? And why is she even here for revenge?
