La Llorona. A scary folks tale and a great horror film, but will I be able to sleep tonight? Nope. All the housekeepers left about an hour ago. Outside there's security but inside the mansion there's (hopefully) only me. Camacho would be back by 8 PM but it's currently past 2.
I keep on tossing and turning in this new bed. I hear strange noises that I know I make up in my mind, even though the squeaking sounds downstairs tell me different. Some branches of a tree hit the window next to my bed and the lightning outside lights up the whole sky. It's all cool but the squeaking sounds downstairs won't stop. I gather all my courage and a sharp object before slowly opening the door of my room. The hallway that was once bright and light has become a scary, dark alley. Downstairs the front door closes with a loud bang, sending shivers down my spine.

"Come on Vale, no te preocupes." I mumble softly, walking towards the stairs. "Hay cosas más aterradoras como, mamí, when she found out you crashed the family car or cuando Carlos found out about Giovanny. , life has been worse."

I peak around the corner and see a male figure fumbling with keys. I flick the lights on with my left hand, startling the male figure. He slowly looks up and when our eyes meet I see a smirk forming on his pinkish lips. His eyes go down my figure, for me to realise I'm in my PJs; a big shirt with bootyshorts.

"Ay mamí, ¿qué lo qué?" He slurs, holding onto the door so he won't fall. Not to exaggerate, but he looked really handsome. Tan, muscular and cute dark brown eyes.

"Business, hm?" I mumble, walking down the last stairs and still holding the candle holder in my right hand.

"Sí pero, if I knew that you would be here." He said looking me up and down again, winking when our eyes meet.

"C*ño."

"What was that, mamí?"

"My new nickname for you." I smile.
