"Wake your lazy ass up! We need to catch a flight, shawty!"

"Dame cinco minutos and I'll be out of bed." I answer with a yawn as I turn around in my bed. A few days have passed since the breakfast in bed. In the past few days Richard hasn't been at home much. He's been in and out of the studio and the free time he had, he'd spent it with his daughter. He asked me a few times to come along but I didn't feel like joining him because I know I'd only feel like an intruder.

"No, levántate, ahora!" Richard says. His yelling isn't working so he pulls the warm blanket off my body.

"Ay c*ño! I'm awake and up. You happy?" I answer grumpily as I reach over for the blanket.

"Slept well?" He grins as I look at him. My hair is everywhere and I assume it doesn't look very charming.

"I did, but someone rudely woke me up at four am because he still needs to pack his luggage." I answer him, walking to the bathroom that's connected to my room. I turn on the lights and my eyes need some time to get used to the bright light. Looking in the mirror I see my hair in the biggest mess, I call a bun, possible.

"How can you look at me without laughing when I have this on my head?" I laugh, pointing at my curls when I see Richard in the mirror, standing a little behind me. He grins as well.

"I've seen worse." He shrugs. Earning a death glare from me. "I didn't mean— I meant like not you— No, uh." He hackles, trying to come up with a correct sentence.

"It's ok." I grin. "You look worse than I do when you wake up." Lies.

"Whatever you say, mamí." Richard says, walking closer to me until he's directly behind me. He mumbles something along the lines of 'you're beautiful' before hugging me from behind and burying his head in the crook of my neck. I smile at his cute action. We haven't been close or cozy since the day I was sick so these actions are a surprise to me.

"And now out. I need to shower first before I can help you pack your luggage." I say, trying to get away from his grip.

"No, I can stay." He answers with an innocent smile, facing me.

"Pervertido, no you're not." I push him out of the bathroom and lock it, just to be sure. I grab some towels, turn on the shower and strip out of my clothes. Done with my shower, I let my hair air dry. No make-up as well and my favourite joggers. Today we fly with the other guys to Las Vegas because they need to rehearse for Premios Billboard de la Música Latina 2019.

"Vale?" Richard's head pops up. "Are you done yet? I need help with packing."

"Yo lo sé, bebé. Tal vez, diez minutos."

Half an hour later we were all done and packed, just waiting for the driver to arrive. I take the time to take a quick look at myself in the big mirror next to the frontdoor, just giving my hair more volume. Richard walks towards me and puts his arm around my shoulder.

"Eres hermosa."

"I'm not decent looking anymore?" I sass, looking up at him with a raised eyebrow.

"You didn't forget about that, hm?" He laughs at me.

"You don't say things like that to a girl, they'll remember it for the rest of their lives." He shakes his head and at that moment we hear someone honking outside, our driver is here. Richard snaps a quick mirror selfie of the both of us for his insta story and we're on our way.
