Her dream was just showed darkness. Then she was next to a canyon and a forest that sprouted trees that were dark purple and turquoise. The canyon was at least 300 feet down. It went on for miles, making the Grand Canyon seem like a ditch.
"Hello?"
The voice echoed the canyon, startling Senkina.  Senkina turned to the voice and saw a girl. The girl had to be at least 18, her white hair was tied up in a tight bun. Her hazel eyes looked tired. Her dress was torn up like she was just in battle.
"Sorry to startle you. I'm just trying to contact someone. Do you know why a rose is white?" The girl asked with a eager grin and in a British accent.
"It is because it reflects all the colors in the rainbow. Well that's the physics answer at least." Senkina replied.
The girl looked confused and thought for a minute. "Are you from Earth?" The girl politely asked.
"Ya, why do you ask?" Senkina retorted.
"Well that's not the answer I was expecting. Usually I would hear 'white roses don't exist' or  'it's because the blue was drained for the blue cycle'. So your answer was too weird to be from someone from here." The girl answered plainly.
"Ok, I guess. Who were you trying to contact?" Senkina asked, curious about this girl.
"I was trying I contact Lyllan. She is the leader of the Great Ancestor's Renegade. I need help to get free, I've been trapped by Our Leader at Dead Man's Forest." The girl answered and spat out more information.
"I know Lyllan. I'm at the hideout where she is. What's your name so I can tell her who we are getting." Senkina replied.
Before the girl could answer, Senkina felt like she was being pulled away. She got pulled into the darkness again.
————————————————————————
She awoke to Leon Oskaur over her. His blue eyes piercing into her brown ones. His hair was now forest green which changed to a ocean blue when she sat up.
"You were stared to toss a lot so I thought you had a bad dream" Leon Oskaur innocently answered the unasked question.
"I wasn't having a nightmare. I was talking to a girl. She needed help. She was trying to talk to Lyllan." Senkina stated.
"What did this girl look like?" Leon Oskaur questioned.
"She looked around 18, white hair, and hazel eyes. Do you know her?" Senkina answered matter-of-factly.
Leon Oskaur's hair turned bubble gum pink, a close shade to Lyllan's eyes, "Yes, I believe that Jickallyn contacted you. She was someone I was close to but she was captured when she was being moved stations." Leon Oskaur excitedly replied.
He jumped up and raced toward to entrance of the cave. Lyllan, as if summoned, showed up at the entrance of the cave. Leon Oskaur hugged her tightly. She didn't looked shocked she even hugged him back. When they pulled away, she looked up to see his hair. She ran her fingers through his hair as if checking for something.
"What are you so happy about?" Lyllan questioned, her hand still in his hair.
"Jickallyn contacted Senkina. She is alive but she needs our help." Leon Oskaur changing from excited to serious. His hair following suit, from bubblegum pink to a forest green.
Lyllan turned to Senkina."Where is she?" Lyllan commanded.
"She said she was in Dead Man's Forest." Senkina replied robotically.
A silence fell on the cave. Lyllan looked like she was planning on a way to save Jickallyn. Leon Oskaur looked like he was going to cry. Senkina didn't know what to do.
Lyllan stood straighter and looked at Senkina and Leon Oskaur.
"I had a plan but it is too risky." Lyllan deflated.
"What? What could the plan be that it is too risky?" Leon Oskaur screamed, his hair catching fire with how red it was.
Lyllan, shocked by the outburst, confidently stated, "It was for me to take you two to help me to get Jickallyn, but that plan would be terrible. Why would I drag you out of the safety of the cave?"
"Why not? I have some control of my abilities. I can defend myself." Leon Oskaur spat out defensively.
"Because I'm not putting you in harms way because I think that your abilities will help." Lyllan spat back.
"I want to go. And you can't make me stay." Leon Oskaur pouted.
"You will stay. You are more valuable alive to me. To Our Leader you are better dead." Lyllan commanded.
"Stop."
Senkina's voice startled everyone, including herself. Her instincts told her to stop the screaming. Her breath seemed to stop. She couldn't help herself from falling to the ground. Lyllan's eyes soften and she went to help Senkina calm down. Leon Oskaur pulled her to a tight hug the red fading back to a forest green with strands of a bright orange. This gave her the feeling of security. She melted into the feeling.
Lyllan cleared her throat when Senkina calmed down. "You too should stay here. What if Senkina does that while we are out. We can't risk you guys getting caught." Lyllan explained.
"That only happens when something triggers my panic attacks. Your yelling triggered it. I know all my triggers. I should be fine hiking and helping, and the exercise will help me calm down faster." Senkina argued, she didn't know why but this world wanted to be explored and it was calling her.
Lyllan looked at her then Leon Oskaur. She sighed, defeated. "Fine you can come. But if there is any danger I will transport you both here." Lyllan explained, like a mother to children.
"Understood." Leon Oskaur excitedly said, his hair changing to the bubble gum pink.
Lyllan turned to walk up the stairs. She called out behind her, "We leave when the sky turns green."
