Senkina walked out of the room making sure that there were no guards. She walked until she made it to the cave room.
She stopped before she went in. She heard someone behind her. She turned to see it was Leon Oskaur. His hair was neon orange and his face was plastered with worry.
"Senkina, why did you leave?" Leon Oskaur asked, worry dripped from his lips.
Senkina looked up at him. Her eyes reflected something of understanding and confusion. "I'm left to get answers." Senkina answered cryptically.
She crept into the room, quiet as a mouse. She shifted towards the beds and found one occupied. She silently walked around the bed, like a predator stalking its prey. She saw that the lump curled itself into a ball. This made Senkina self-assigned mission a little harder.
She gently pushed the lumps shoulder. The lump refused to uncurl itself. Senkina pushed a little harder. Still the lump would not move. Senkina thought for a minute then got a crazy idea.
She leaned next to the lump's ear should be and whispered in a harsh tone, "You are the reason Nini is gone."
The lump jumped out of the bed. The lump almost hit Senkina, but moved out of the way expecting this reaction. The lump looked up at Senkina and stared at her.
The lump turned out to be a boy with curly bedhead-like black hair and blue eyes. He was an almost exact copy of Leon Oskaur. The only difference being his hair not turning different colors like a mood ring. Senkina didn't need his hair to change colors for her to know what he was feeling.
Leon Oskaur, who was waiting outside, came in when the Leon Oskaur imposter yelped. He looked at his copy with confusion and interest. His hair changed to a sandy brown. He looked at Senkina and gestured to his copy as if to say explain.
"I had a hunch that we would find something here. I didn't know I was going to find him." Senkina explained, as best as he could.
"Well your hunch was correct. So miss pesty what did you want to find?" The copy questioned, obviously trying to play mind games. His British accent was more funky then Leon Oskaur's.
"Well," Senkina started to answer, "I wanted to figure if I would find others."
"Others?" The copy further questioned.
"Yes, others of copies. I want to know what you know." Senkina answered, she then softened, "I think we could help each other. You know something we don't know. And I have a way for you to get what you want."
"How could you give me what I want? You don't even know what I want." The copy countered, interested.
Senkina looked at the copy. She felt like she was glimpsing into his soul. It was hungry and wanting what was taken from it when it had no choice. It wanted something almost everyone had a chance to get.
"You want your own identity." Senkina began listing the wishes of his very soul, "You want to be your own person. You want to be more then Leon Oskaur twin. You want to be simply Johnson."
He looked at her like he had seen a ghost. "How did you know?" Johnson whispered in surprise.
"It is what every soul craves in some way." Senkina answered nonchalantly.
"No, how did you know that I was Leon Oskaur's twin, and not his copy?" Johnson asked more directly.
"Copies don't have compassion, or feelings in general." Senkina answered like she had rehearsed this line for her entire life.
Johnson hugged her. She knew that her instincts had not failed her. Leon Oskaur was still very confused.
"So, let me get this straight." Leon Oskaur said aloud, starting to wrapping his around everything, "He is my twin brother. And he has been here my entire life."
"Yes," Johnson confirmed but added, "I also for a good 50 years was your replacement."
Leon Oskaur looked more confused and conflicted with every realization. "What in the great universe, are you talking about?" Leon Oskaur practically shouted.
"Didn't you wonder how no one noticed you were gone? What do you think my purpose was to Our Leader?" Johnson questioned, like this was common sense.
"Well, to that argument. The world would have thought that he was murdered by a serial killer or something." Senkina argued, "To the second point, we didn't know you existed ten minutes ago."
Johnson nodded at Senkina. He was silently impressed. "Well then, I will clear the water. Us twins have two jobs. One is to replace you on earth, until we are beckoned back." Johnson explained.
"And the second?" Leon Oskaur asked, hesitantly.
"Our second job is to lure you out of hiding. So that Our Leader can kill you." Johnson explained, rather bluntly.
"Well," Senkina began, extending her hand, "do you want to be more then a shadow?" Johnson looked at the hand for a second, then accepted it gratefully.
Senkina and Leon Oskaur both had a big smile on their faces. Leon Oskaur even hugged his brother. It was something they both needed.
Senkina motioned for them to follow her. They did, knowing to be as quiet as a mouse. They all walked back to the room where Jickallyn was.
Everyone turned to them. They all looked shocked when they saw Johnson. Senkina, Leon Oskaur and Johnson seemed unfazed. Senkina walked over to Jickallyn.
"You know almost everyone's twin, right?" Senkina boarderline commanded.
"I guess. I could figure it out." Johnson responded. He step towards Jickallyn. Confusion was the only thing on her face. He practically studied her, like an art critic does like to a painting. Johnson looked behind her ear. He stood up and turned to Senkina. He was about to speak, when he started to shake uncontrollably. He dropped to the floor. Senkina rushed to his side. He wouldn't stop shaking. Senkina tried to grab to back him stop and was shocked. The shock pulsed through her and gave her a hot flash. She looked around him and found a orange orb, that couldn't be bigger then a bean on his neck.
Senkina pulled the orb off. Johnson stopped shaking, but he was definitely unconscious.
"That needed to be done." A voice boomed through the room.
