The color drained from Our Leader's face. "How do I reverse it?" He pleaded, basically on his knees.
Lyllan sly smirk sent a chill up my back. She looked him in the eyes. "There is only one cure." She replied, pulling a vial with a bright blue liquid. The liquid bubbled suspiciously. "This vial is consumed by her true love will eliminate any problems." Lyllan continued, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Our Leader didn't pick up on it. He grabbed the vial and chugged it. His certainess with being her true love scared me. If he was this devout to her, maybe he didn't believe in her but rather loved her.
Could love really be this blind or was there a side we never met of Jickallyn?
Nothing happened to him at first. I looked very confused at Lyllan. Asking her telepathically 'What's the plan?'. All she responded was a nod in Our Leader's direction.
I turned back to see him go rigid. He looked terrified at his own body. His hand instinctively grabbed his sword. He looked in horror at his own hands, gripping the sword. He looked over to the gagged Jickallyn.
All she did was try to mutter words. Even if he understood what she said, he definitely didn't do it. Next thing anyone knew, he was slicing at her.
Everyone else jumped out of the way. Jickallyn stayed there, frozen. She looked like a painted statue. The red paint began to run down the statue.
I understanding the plan now, ran over and untied her gag.
Jickallyn began to spew out her soul to Our Leader, "You stupid idiot. You couldn't do anything even if I laid out the steps for you. You don't deserve to be anywhere near me or power. You lowlife, no good, peas-"
She stopped only when Our Leader slit her throat. He was covered in his love's blood. Tears rolled down his cheeks, collecting on his chin. He looked up in disbelief for what he had done. Lyllan snooped down so that they were eye to eye.
"So how does it feel?" She whispered, "To see someone you love, die in front of you."
He looked up at her in disgust then recognition. "Y-you! You're that girl. The one that lead the resistance." Our Leader shouted.
"Is that all you recognize me from?" Lyllan sighed. "I guess it was a long time ago."
Our Leader studied her face trying to place it elsewhere. No recognition flashed through his face. Lyllan rolled her eyes and grabbed the collar of his armor. Since he couldn't react, he stood still in shock.
"I'm that girl that you forced to kill her grandfather." Lyllan angrily responded. "You made me kill my own family and then took my brothers. I decided that day I would destroy you. Guess that day has finally come."
Our Leader looked down at Jickallyn's bloody remains. His tears became more frequent.
"She was my love. I don't would have done anything for her." He cried out.
Lyllan looked down at him with a little bit of sympathy. Then her face hardened. "Some people are not worth love." Lyllan spat then commanded, "Now go fetch the bottles full of portals to earth."
As if a puppet on strings, he walked towards the castle. Gesturing at the guards to stand down. We walked through the walkway to a little hidden door.
Our Leader opened it up and at least 2000 bottles of a bubbly white liquid lined the walls. Our leader then explained, "All they need are the blood of a earth person."
Lyllan looked at me. "Can you clean off Our Leader?" She asked.
I wiped my finger on the armor. The blood was sticky and gross. I, then, put the blood on my finger in one of the vials. The liquid took on the blood and turned a brilliant black. Our Leader looked very defeated. Lyllan looked relieved.
We then went to free the real Jickallyn. She was battered but alive. Lyllan then went to find her brothers. This led me to organize the portals home.
I turned to the first earth person, Firtte, and asked, "Will it send us to the right time?"
His icy blue looked up at me. He chuckled to himself, then responded, "It'll send you to your right time."
We told everyone to grab a bottle then take some blood and mix. Everyone did as they were told. Soon every earth person and most of the planet had a way to get to earth.
The first earth person went first. He looked at the bottle in his hands then smashed it to the ground. Out of the broken glass, came a smoke circle. The circle was about the size of a person. He waved at us then walked in the smoke.
With that example, everyone followed suit. Smashing the glass, then saying goodbye, finally stepping back into their old lives. Eventually Lyllan came with her brothers, one being the guard when we went to save Jickallyn. He looked friendly now, he even gave me a huge smile.
Leon Oskaur, Johnson, Lyllan, Lyllan's brothers, and I all waited for everyone else to go. Jickallyn said her final good bye and was gone.
We looked at each other, not knowing if we would ever see each other again. We all huddled together, in one massive hug. Tears streamed down our faces, burning glistening paths of sorrow. When we broke up the hug, we all decided to go together.
We smashed our bottles together. Turning to look at each other, then the land Senkina called home.
Only Our Leader and some loyal soldiers stayed, all looking over Jickallyn's body.
We stepped into the unknown that was the black smoke.

I woke up at home. Senkina's, my, earth home. I looked around a little confused. I thought for a brief moment that I dreamt it all up.
A knock at the door, provided my answers.
