Senkina was shaken awake by Leon Oskaur. He threw an outfit on her. It was like the silk dress she had before but was a deep blue. This reminded Senkina she would need a shower soon. Leon Oskaur left the cave to give Senkina privacy. She changed and called out, "I'm ready."
Leon Oskaur came back with a bag, it looked like a little purse with two straps. He handed it to her. She took it. Leon Oskaur's hair was pink with some orange sprinkled in. They both stood up and walked up the stairs. Lyllan was waiting for them. She turned to them.
"The plan is simple we go to Dead Man's Forest. We get Jickallyn. We take a portal back. That is it." She explained in a demanding way.
They quietly set off. They walked until there was a pressing need to stop. As they walked the sky changed from green to red to purple to yellow then settled on a blue. Lyllan let them rest completely when the sky was a midnight blue.
"If we had a portal why didn't we use it?" Senkina asked, very curious after the long hike in silence.
"The portal can't go to enchanted places like Dead Man's Forest and we starting to run low on materials for making potions. We are waiting for the next cycle to start to get more supplies." Lyllan explained.
"What about Dead Man's Forest is enchanted?" Senkina asked, starting to feel like a super fan of a series.
"Well, it is enchanted to keep people away. The easiest way to do that is that is to mess with someone's mind. And well it does it's job and more. It not only messes with your mind it makes you want to commit suicide." Lyllan quietly explained.
"That's horrible." Senkina exclaimed, "I know some people that would look at that Forest and head for the canyon."
Lyllan turned to Senkina confused. "How did you know it was by a cliff?" Lyllan questioned.
Senkina shrugged. "It was in my dream." Senkina responded. Lyllan just silently nodded, mostly to herself. She looked toward the path ahead. The midnight blue sky made the darkness seem calming.
Senkina laid down, her eyes slowly closing.

She sat up to see her room. Senkina looked around. She stood up and walked around. She can't be back home. She couldn't have dreamed up that place. It can't be a dream. She ran down the stairs to the kitchen.
She saw her mom. Her mom was quietly making breakfast. Senkina turned to walk back upstairs before her mom caught her. As she turned her mom yelled, "Stop, you naughty girl."
Senkina froze and turned to see her mom wasn't looking at her but at someone like her. The only noticeable difference being the freckles sprinkling her cheeks. Senkina's mom was bright red with anger at this other Senkina.
"You should know by now that you stay in bed until I tell you to leave. You will get the punishment of not being allowed to eat and a beating." Senkina's mom yelled at the other Senkina. Senkina stepped in front of the other Senkina. Senkina wasn't going to allow this innocent other her to get hurt.
Senkina's mom turned pale and fainted at the sight of Senkina. Senkina turned to the other Senkina to see her crying. Senkina tried to comfort her but she was unable to. She couldn't touch the other Senkina.
Senkina felt she was being pulled away from the other Senkina. She just wanted to help the other Senkina but she couldn't. She was pulled until blackness was the only thing surrounding Senkina.

Senkina sat up to a green sky. She turned to see where Lyllan and Leon Oskaur were. She couldn't find them. She stood up from the ground to find Lyllan's pack. She followed the stuff that was spilled on the ground to a wooded area. She continued to walk until she saw a couple of guards with sky blue armor on and some lumps over their shoulders. The guards dropped their lumps to reveal Lyllan and Leon Oskaur. Senkina opened Lyllan pack looking for a potion to help. She looked searching for something to help, when her hand met metal. She pulled it out to reveal a sword.
The blade glowed a brilliant green. The handle molded around her fingers like it was trying to become one with her.
Senkina turned back to the guards deciding the best way to help them. She looked at Lyllan and Leon Oskaur like she was asking them. Then an idea popped into her head.
She climbed the trees until she was over the guards. She then jumped on the shorter of the two. He was knocked out almost immediately. The other guard looked at her in shock for a second. A second was all that was needed. She lunged at him, slashing at the little brooch on his chest plate. The guard tried to fight back, but then Senkina heard someone stand up the join her in fighting the guard. She turned to see Lyllan. The guard was quickly pinned down. Senkina took his sword while Lyllan went to the other guard, slashing at his brooch.
Leon Oskaur woke up and jumped to his feet. He turned to Lyllan and looked at her arm where blood dripped out. He then turned to Senkina. He looked intently at her face. Senkina subconsciously touched her face. She brought her hand out to see blood on it. She must have been slashed during the fight. Leon Oskaur's turned a flaming red, it almost crackled. Then his hair burst into flames.
Senkina moved out of the way, not sure what to do. Leon Oskaur stepped toward the guard, the flames increasing in intensity with every step. Lyllan stepped forward, her hair a light turquoise. She grabbed Leon Oskaur's arm. He's fire dampened until his hair was back to normal and his hair was a cool blue. A hush of wind blasted through the forest, knocking out the second guard.
Leon Oskaur turned to look at Senkina. His hair changed to a forest green, worry plastered on his face.
"Are you okay?" Leon Oskaur asked, worry dripping from his voice.
"Ya, I'm fine. What was that?" Senkina questioned.
"That is what happens when I get mad, it's my power." Leon Oskaur shyly explained.
"Power? I thought there was no magic people here." Senkina accused.
"No one has magic. We have powers for survival. When we got plucked from earth our bodies went into overdrive to protect. This creates powers for us." Leon Oskaur calmly explained.
"Wait. So you're telling me that I'm basically an x-men." Senkina bewildered.
"Sure." Leon Oskaur brushed off.
Senkina looked up at Leon Oskaur with awe. She couldn't believe that he could do that. What could she do?
"So how do I find out my power? Do I have to fight a deadly foe, survive an impossible task, or do have to go on my on solo quest?" Senkina excitedly rambled.
Leon looked at her like horns grew out of her head. "What are you talking about?" Lyllan questioned.
"You don't do any of those things do you?" Senkina responded, becoming very deflated.
"You just get them. They show up when you need them the most." Lyllan stated, ignoring Senkina's deflated state.
Great so I don't get my powers until I'm almost home. So I can't use them to have some fun. What if I can still use them on earth? That would be bad actually because I could be experimented on by scientists or I could became an outcast. Senkina thought to herself.
Senkina looked over to the soldier that she fought. He was still unconscious. His chocolate skin juxtaposed his light blue armor and his golden hair, that curled around his head. Lyllan looked over at the soldier. She looked sad looking at him, like there was there was a whole other life that they knew each other.
Leon Oskaur turned to Lyllan orange filled his head. "What do we do with them?"
"Simple." Lyllan replied while sprinkling blue power on the short soldier and then sprinkling green on the tall soldier. Senkina walked over to the taller soldier. He stood up nearly knocking Senkina over. His eyes glowed an agua color like Kida's in Atlantis. He then began to walk forward Lyllan followed him while Leon Oskaur and Senkina trailed behind.
Senkina look up curiously at Leon Oskaur. "What are your powers?" Senkina questioned.
"Well," Leon Oskaur started cautiously, "I can control the elements when I channel a certain emotion. That is why my hair changes it is based off my emotion."
Senkina looked closely at his hair it was now an orange with sprinkles of forest green. "What do each of the colors mean?" Senkina curiously asked, reaching for his hair.
"There are too many to explain now. I'll tell you when we are back, safely, in the cave." Leon Oskaur playfully teased.
"Can I touch it?" Senkina asked, like a child for candy.
Leon Oskaur looked down to her and grinned his hair turning to pink with black under tones. "Of course you can." Leon Oskaur sweetly replied.
Senkina reached for his curly locks. They easily tangled around her fingers. She tried to gently untangle them with little success. Leon reaches up to try to help her. They managed to untangle her fingers as Lyllan and the soldier looked down at the forest below.
