The voice that was eerily nice echoed in their ears.
"Misfortune has truly fallen upon you. I can help, but with a price. Hand over the leader of the Great Ancestor's Renegade and the last Telesa."
Lyllan looked up disgusted at the sky. "I refuse to give up any of the Telesa. You will not touch a hair on any of their heads." Lyllan shouted to the sky, "If you want a fight prepare for one."
The sky remained silent. Lyllan turned to Senkina.
"I need you to lead here." She asked, practically begged.
"Where are you going?" Senkina asked.
"I'm going to fight the one person between me and home." Lyllan proclaimed, "You should try to help the people, then prepare to fight."
Senkina nodded. Lyllan began to walk to the portal. "Wait, the portal is infected and the village is destroyed." Senkina yelled out.
Lyllan looked at Senkina. Sadness filled her eyes as she walked the other way. When Lyllan reached the border, she turned, one last time. She waved goodbye to the group.
She then left and disappeared into the desert. Senkina then focused on the people who were stuck. She grab each one of their faces and tried to pull the person out of the nightmare.
Every time she finished, three more people became stuck. Senkina started to become exhausted. She turned to the people who were no longer stuck and told them what to do. This allowed Senkina to take a break and check up on Leon Oskaur.
When she walked in, she felt Leon Oskaur cloud the room like smoke after someone vaped. She turned to see he was moving around. She went up to him and shook him a little.
His hair changed to a forest green and his eyes flew open. His eyes were clouded and unfocused. Senkina was taken aback, she didn't think that Leon Oskaur would be affected because he was in a coma. He began to cry uncontrollably. His eyes began to swell and turn red. He only was able to mumble was Nini.
Senkina ran out to check up on the group to see if the group was able to help. When she made it back, everything was in chaos. Senkina tried to calm everyone, but to no avail.
She told all those who were already healed that they need to gather those that still needed help. Senkina turned to see that Johnson was unaffected by the trapped nightmares.
"What is going on?" Senkina asked Johnson, obviously the only person that was completely stable right now, "You aren't affected. I'm not affected. But everyone else is going off their rocker. Every time I help someone, three more people need help. And apparently I'm the only one that can draw them out."
Johnson looked at the crowd and back at Senkina. "Maybe it doesn't affect us because we are 'the copies'." Johnson theorized. Senkina thought on that a moment and nodded in agreement.
"Okay that makes sense," Senkina admitted then turned back to her questions, "but that doesn't explain why I'm the only one that can help."
Johnson thought a moment longer but he was train of thought was interrupted by Leon Oskaur running out of of the hut.
Johnson stood up and tackled him to the ground. Senkina knew that she should work on the more dangerous people while Leon Oskaur was pinned. She was about to when she felt something nagging at her. She turned to Leon Oskaur's scared face. His hair was changing slightly. The roots were no longer green but black.
Senkina inched closer to his hair. She wanted to make sure it wasn't a trick of the eye. As she came closer, a image slowly took her vision.
Senkina was snapped out of it by a girl screaming. Senkina immediately went over to the more risky people and pulled them out.
Even while curiosity pulled at her to know their pain, she wanted to finish as fast as she could. When she thought she was done three more would come in.
Senkina getting feed up with this. She turned to a girl that was already pulled out.
"I want you to figure which are the high risk prisoners. High risk means a immediate danger to them or others. If they are then bring them here. If they aren't then put them in a holding hut." Senkina explained. The girl nodded. She left and repeated the information to everyone that was clear.
They began to sort the people that were trapped. Those that were ready to kill, either themselves or others, were sent immediately to Senkina. The rest were put in the infirmary hut.
Senkina was relieved when only ten kids came in. A few being Harta, Jickallyn, and the boy with green tipped, black hair.
Senkina gently grabbed Harta's face. A faint image of  a man hanging over her swept over Senkina. Senkina didn't let her nerves get in the way. She found Harta and gently lead her back. Harta's violet eyes cleared up and focused.
Tears steamed down her face as she surprise hugged Senkina. Senkina reciprocated the hug and shooed her off so that she could finish.
Senkina helped three kids before she helped Jickallyn. When Senkina touched Jickallyn's skin, the most horrific things popped into her head. Her sister dead, a friend's head twisted off, a heart torn out of a strange boy. What in the great world, had Jickallyn experienced? Senkina thought.
As the images popped up, a guillotine was in the mix. The guillotine wasn't just being a toy of terror in the images it was being used on a women in her 30s.
Senkina was horrified but refused to give up on Jickallyn. She searched further until Senkina felt a small hand grab her. Senkina grabbed the child like hand and lead her back.
Jickallyn's eyes focused and she looked at Senkina in surprise. She then saw there were more people and left, not saying a word.
Senkina found the rest to be easy. There was not any  images popping up and scaring her. When she had finished she ran to Leon Oskaur, who was still pinned under his brother.
Senkina inched toward him as images took on her vision.
