Leon Oskaur and Senkina ran up the stairs. Senkina led him to the bedroom. When they were here Senkina pushed him to the back where the baths were.
"Now go take a good bath. You need it." Senkina commanded.
Leon Oskaur put his hands up in quiet surrender. He went in and got washed up and put on a new outfit. He was no longer in the rusted orange jumpsuit. He was now in a deep purple jumpsuit. Senkina grabbed his hand and speed walked to the containment room.
"Why are we here?" Leon Oskaur whispered. Senkina just gestured to her old containment unit. When they were at it they saw it was not empty. It was in fact had a new occupant.
The problem the new occupant looked exactly like Senkina. Senkina opened up the unit to release the other Senkina. This must be the girl from her dreams.
As Senkina reached in to wake her up, her hand fell through the other Senkina. Senkina looked astonished. She turned to Leon Oskaur who was, if not more, shocked. He reached towards the other Senkina. His hand seemed to feel something and stopped at the other Senkina's shoulder.
They looked at each other and knew it was time to leave. They both thought a trap was coming. So they bolted to the guards' room.
They made it with no incident. There were guards in the room though. They just walked in like they did this every day. The guards gave them no mind. They barely looked up to see who it was. Senkina and Leon Oskaur both hopped through the portal closest to the sanctuary.
When they were in the desert, Leon Oskaur lead the way. While walking he ask Senkina, "Why did you want to go to the containment room?"
Senkina looked up at him. Why did I want to go in there? Was it because I wanted to see how we escaped notice? Or was because I sensed the other Senkina? The other Senkina wasn't real though. My hand just went through her but Leon Oskaur touched her. What is going on? Senkina thought, confusing herself.
"I felt a hidden connection." Senkina started to explain, "I felt like I had missed something that was there. But we probably just found one of Our Leader's traps."
Leon Oskaur nodded in understanding. He looked like he was thinking hard too. He looked out past the desert, like he was peering into his memories or a past life. Eventually, they found the shield of the sanctuary. Senkina and Leon Oskaur easily passed the test.
When they entered in the crowd was in a frantic nervous state. They were all in the middle of nervous breakdowns Leon Oskaur went up to the first person he saw and asked, "What was going on?"
The girl looked up like she was looking at a ghost. Senkina realize that the girl was Harta. Harta then saw Senkina. Harta then paled and her eyes rolled back in her head. Senkina caught her as Harta fainted. When they heard the thump of Senkina and Harta's bodies hitting the floor, they all looked at Senkina and Leon Oskaur.
Some paled, some were relieved, and the rest were in shock. Senkina looked around the crowd. When was waiting for someone to explain what was going on.
Someone from the crowd stepped forward. It was Lyllan, her face was painted with suspicion and sadness.
"Who are you?" Lyllan shouted at Leon Oskaur and Senkina.
Senkina stepped forward. "It's us, Lyllan." Senkina responded, she was being as gentle as she could be.
Lyllan ran into Senkina's arms, pulling her into a big bear hug. Senkina was a bit taken back.
Who was this person and who took Lyllan? Senkina thought. Leon Oskaur joined the hug. This made Lyllan so emotional that she couldn't stand. She dropped to the ground, but Senkina and Leon Oskaur continued the hug on the ground. They looked like the ending scene in Tangled.
When they finally split apart, Lyllan's eyes were full of tears. "We all thought you were dead." Lyllan managed to say.
"Was that why you were all in a panic?" Leon Oskaur joked.
"Partly." Lyllan answered seriously, "We were panicking because we found out why all the earth people are here."
"And that's bad why?" Senkina replied before she could stop herself.
"He needs 101 earth people to ensure a permanent portal between here and earth." Lyllan explained.
Senkina processed the information in record time.
"Of course he wants to kill us. Because in what world would we be in if the bad guy didn't want the good guy to die." Senkina blurted out, before adding on, "Well we could be in a sitcom, high school novel, or a rom-com."
Everyone around Senkina just looked at her. Of course they don't understand that. They are all centuries old. I don't think Leon Oskaur even knows what a television is. Senkina thought to herself.
"What I meant is that of course he wants to kill us." Senkina corrected.
"Wait does this happen often on earth?" Leon Oskaur asked.
"Well kinda. It's hard to explain when we are talking about our deaths." Senkina replied, "Does he have to kill us in a certain way?"
Lyllan looked at Senkina mystified. "Yes. He has to kill you in the reverse order of those who came to earth." Lyllan explained, emphasizing the word reverse.
"Basically, I don't die, none of you can?" Senkina reasoned.
"Well yes. How are you taking this so well?" Lyllan asked not knowing how Senkina was taking death so well.
"Let's just saw I'm used to death by this point because of earth." Senkina cryptically answered.
Something suddenly dawned on Senkina.
"Where is Jickallyn?" Senkina asked. The group parted until Jickallyn came into view. Senkina breathed a sigh of relief.
Leon Oskaur started to coughing. It was quiet at first but then he was hacking. He started to cough so much that he could barely breathe or was puking blood.
Senkina rolled him to his back. His hair was changing to a blood red. The potion was wearing off. Senkina screamed for a healer as Leon Oskaur's eyes rolled to the back of his head.
