This will be short so I'm putting two up tonight :))
Dave's P.O.V
I heard that being gay was wrong more times than I could count and I was trying to keep quiet about my sexuality until I met a boy with dark eyeliner and curly eyelashes.
I still remember the first time I saw Klaus. I knew that I was attracted by him but I never expected too fall in love.
There were nights when I wondered what my life would've been like without Klaus but all I could come up with was boredom and loneliness.
"Dave?" I hear Klaus' voice.
"Yes?" I answer.
"Everyone's asleep."
"Which means that we probably should be too."
"Oh come on you should know me well enough by now to know that I don't do rules," Klaus says with a smirk.
"Alright wait, I know somewhere I've been wanting to take you."
We both get up and begin to walk towards the door making faces in fear that we'd get caught.
I take Klaus' hand and leed him towards the tree where I had first asked him to be my boyfriend.
"What are we doing here?" He asked.
"This," I say just before I kiss him on the lips, not letting go of his hands.
Feeling his lips on mine suddenly made me feel like everything was ok, that we would make it.
He pulls away, breaks his hand free from mine and clasps it over my mouth, "shh."
We hear someone walking towards us.
"Who's there?" I ask quietly.
"I think it's Simon, don't move."
"Hello?" We hear a deep voice.
There were a few seconds of silence before we heard the cracking of twigs and leaves further and further away.
"You know what, I don't understand why people say hello when they're in dangerous situations? Like do they expect the 'villain' or whatever to help them or?" Klaus says in a mocking tone.
"Just shut up and kiss me," I laugh.
We return to what we were doing and once again I realised that all it takes for me to feel safe in a war zone was Klaus, I truely did love him.
"I love you," I whisper as I pull away.
Our lips were still millimeters away from each other when Klaus whispers "I love you too."
"Lets get out of here before we get caught." I say taking his hand once again.
"I don't want to."
"We have to, we'll get caught for sure if we don't go back soon," I say.
"Have you ever thought about running away?"
"Of course."
"Why didn't you?" Klaus asks.
I look at him, his green eyes were sparkling in the moonlight and the warm breeze was blowing his hair to the left.
"I was already enough of a disgrace to my family."
"How in the world could you out of all people be a disgrace?"
"Because I had told my mother I liked boys."
"Oh, I-"
"Don't feel bad, if I ran away I never would've met you and that would've been the biggest regret of my life."
"But if you ran away you wouldn't have known I existed so then how would you regret something which you didn't even know about?"
"That's one way to ruin a moment," I laughed.
"Sorry," Klaus laughed then kissed me.
"Let's so back and stop sneaking around like teenagers for tonight."
"I have a feeling that Simon will return so fine I'm coming," Klaus said with a pout.
I took his hand again and gave him one last loving kiss before running back to where we slept.
Before I fell asleep I looked at Klaus one last time, how could I have found someone who's flaws make them so perfect?
