1ST JULY 2062, 9:06 PM
Taeyong hummed as he walked down the dark street alone, he had just returned from picking up a few things at the store.
Initially, Johnny went with him but he decided to leave all of a sudden.
He smiled to himself. He often remembered the event from five years ago and how much of a mess he caused.
Since then, Kun graduated and returned to China to begin a career there.
Donghyuck cried the hardest at the airport. It shocked everyone to see him in such a state.
Speaking of Donghyuck, he graduated as a high schooler and entered university with science robotics as his main course.
Johnny didn't change much though but one thing's for sure, Donghyuck didn't have to worry about him being sleep deprived.
A male creeped along the dark, following behind Taeyong as he walked.
Taeyong hadn't notice a single thing especially with his earphones plugged in.
The male pulled a knife out, slowly approaching Taeyong.
That's when he was dragged away and into a dark alleyway with a gun to his head.
"You do anything stupid, I'll make sure you die," Yuta said, his finger laced around the trigger.
"Okay! Okay!" He surrendered immediately,
Yuta let the man go and put his gun away. "You made it easy for me!" He smiled but he wasn't surprised when the stranger tried to attack him.
He dodged his attempt to slice through his skin with ease, "Seriously? I was being nice," Yuta said,
Yuta pulled a knife out and slit the man's throat, watching his fall onto his knees as his shirt soaks up his blood.
"Yikes," Yuta said to himself befor pulling our his phone to answer Jaehyun's call.
"Yes?" "You're late, get your ass over here," "Hey, I'm busy. Can't you see I'm at work?" "If you say it again, I'll-" "I'm part time mercenary and full time Taeyong's secret guardian angel,"
A heavy sigh could be heard then Jaehyun hung up immediately.
"Wow, that hurt a lot more than expected," Yuta slipped his phone away, taking one last glance at Taeyong.
He smiled then proceeded to run off into the dark.
Taeyong walked up the front porch of the home he shared with Doyoung.
The two saved up every penny they could earn to buy it after they Doyoung promised to live together after he graduated.
"I'm home!" Taeyong slipped his shoes off and placed them onto the shoe rack,
But then Taeyong's view was blocked by two hands over his eyes, "Guess who?"
Taeyong couldn't believe his own ears, "Kun?" He asked, happy to hear the younger's voice.
"Who else would've flew to Korea just for your birthday?" Kun asked with a giggle following his statement.
"Ah, let me see you!" Taeyong replied, jumping slightly to express his excitement.
"Not just yet! Follow me~" Kun walked with Taeyong, still covering his eyes.
"Okay!" Kun revealed the surprise that Doyoung had planned for Taeyong.
"Happy birthday!" They all yelled in unison, presenting a cake that was clearly made them.
Taeyong smiled in joy but he was immediately able to realise that Doyoung wasn't in the group.
"Where's-" "Come on, Taeyong! Blow the candles!" Donghyuck pulled Taeyong towards the cake.
Taeyong made a wish. A wish to make his friends a home for joy. He blew the candles and everyone clapped,
"Where's Doyoung?" Taeyong asked,
Everyone wore a smile, not spilling a single word to him.
Taeyong only got more confused but then he felt arms snake around his waist and a kiss behind his neck.
"Happy birthday," Doyoung whispered in his ear.
Taeyong's heart nearly jumped out of his chest but he looked over his shoulder, "I was wondering where you were,"
Doyoung smiled and pulled away, "I have a gift for you," He said,
"What is it?" Taeyong was jumping like an over-excited child at a toy store.
Doyoung walked out of the dining room and entered with a puppy in his hands.
Taeyong completely forgot about Doyoung and snatched the puppy away from his arms. "It's so cute!" He said,
The group of friends began to swarm around the puppy. Doyoung could feel himself getting envious.
The puppy showered Taeyong in kisses which made the older laugh in joy. "She's adorable!" Taeyong held the puppy in his arms.
Doyoung pouted, unhappy with the divided attention. "Well, I also got you a ring but you're way too busy with the puppy now!"
Taeyong's heart nearly stopped, "What did you say?" He asked, passing the puppy to Johnny.
Doyoung smiled, "Taeyong," He began, walking closer to him.
He fell onto one knee, pulling out a small box and opening it,
"Will you marry me?" Doyoung asked, his heart racing due to the fear of rejection.
Taeyong literally stopped working for a spilt second. He nodded, "Yes, I will," He replied,
"Are you serious?" Doyoung asked, even if it was probably the dumbest thing to ask.
"Yes, I am!" Taeyong replied, smiling despite getting teary.
"Yes! Yes!" Doyoung cheered to himself as he got onto his feet to embrace Taeyong, lifting him up slightly.
"I love you so much," Doyoung put him down, pressing his forehead against Taeyong's.
"I love you more,"
