"At least the chow's good." Cole said
"Argh! It's killing me. What's under the trap door? What happens when you lose?" Jay ranted
"Don't think about that." Sensei said
"It's all I can think about. I moved on. I feel guilt. These are not good feelings." Jay said
"You think you feel bad? Imagine how I feel. Our mission is simple. Tonight we find Zane and get off this crazy island." Kai said
" And just how are we supposed to do that? You heard Chen, break a rule and we're out. He's not gonna let us roam around." Cole asked
"Then it's a good thing we're Ninja. Meet me in my room at midnight." Kai said
"You mind if I join you?" Mr. Pale said
Misty opened her mouth and was about to say "Ye....Ow!" She yelped instead Jay had stomped on her foot under the table.
"Disappear, pal! This is private. Uhh. I know you're still here. I can see your lunch tray."
The Man then reappeared and walked off.
"Jay!" Misty shouted and she threw a piece of food off her plate and it hit Jay in the face.
" Wow, Jay, you were really mean." Cole agreed
"How am I supposed to know if we can trust him? See what this island is doing to me? It's corrupting me. It has to stop. I'll see you tonight." Jay said

Later Lloyd was inside his room and he heard a familiar tapping sound this time it was on his balcony.
He went and opened the door and Misty quickly entered.
"You know we go to Kai's room right.. and at midnight..." Lloyd said
"Yes of course I know... but I needed to talk to you."
"About what?" Lloyd said
"The Jade Blade! you gave it to me! You risked losing! Lloyd as much as I love you I can't let you do that again!"
"You Love me?" Lloyd said he looked surprised...
"Where did you get that idea?"
"You just said it..."
"No I didn't... You've must have hit your head fighting, your hearing things." Misty said and she wouldn't meet Lloyd's eyes.
Lloyd didn't believe her, because when Misty said something it was worth listening to, Lloyd and the other ninjas soon learned that lesson, but he decide to change the subject.
"Why can't I do that?"
"Oh I don't know there's a thousands reasons why! Lloyd you can't lose we need the Green Ninja." "I need you..." Misty whispered Lloyd luckily didn't hear the last part.
"The team also needs the Master of Crystals."
"Not as much as the Green Ninja...."
"Misty..."
"It's time to go, Lloyd but please don't risk your chance of winning for me I would feel terrible if you lost just, because I was too weak to take care of myself."
Lloyd realized he wasn't going to get anymore answers from Misty and flipped up his mask and said "lets go."
Both of the snuck out of Lloyd's room and dropped down from the balcony.
The ran across the roof they soon reached Kai's room he was waiting on the balcony. Lloyd dropped down first followed by Misty and then Cole all of them ran into Kai's room.
She could hear Kai talking to Skylor, Misty had learned he name.
"She was pacing the room even though Cole and Lloyd were sitting and relaxing they had taken off their masks. She kept hers on though.
"Gah, hopefully Lloyd thinks he's imagine what I said."
When Jay joined then.
"You just had to leave me hanging, huh, Romeo?" "Whoa-ho-ho-ho. Nice digs." Jay said
"I know. His room is so much nicer than mine. Look, chocolate covered shell peas. I love these. Oh, and look how soft your pillows are. Man, mine are made of rock. What a crock." Cole said
"Okay, it was almost impossible to get here. This place is swarming with guards. Any ideas on how we search the island?" Jay asked
"We travel by shadow. Cover every square inch of this place until we find him." Kai said
"The island's big. We'll need to split up." Jay said
"No, we stick together." Lloyd said
"Easier said then done..." Misty sighed and she pulled down her mask.
"Uh, guys... The bed is, uh..." Cole said
"Cole, I get it! You like my bed. Would you stop playing around?" Kai said he was angry
"I think I know how we can search the island." Cole said
"Okay, I feel ridiculous." Lloyd said
The ninja were laying down on Kai's bed
"You're right. The pillows are soft." Jay sighed
"Is this a joke?" Lloyd said

"If it is it's not funny." Misty said she was laying down beside Lloyd and was doing her best to keep as far away as possible and to hide her blushing face.
"I must've done something to trigger it. I was laying here, then I stretched..." Cole said and he moved his head back and the bed flipped upside down.
"Whoa secret passageway cool!" Jay said
The boys were able to hold on and Lloyd grabbed Misty's around her waist just before she fell.
"Misty! Don't worry I've got you!" Lloyd said

Misty's face was bright red she was glad it was dark so no one couldn't see her face.

Lloyd gently lowered Misty down first and then jumped down after her followed by the other ninja, who were exchanging amused looks, that were not unnoticed by Misty who glared at them.
Kai was used his fire element to light up the passage way.
"Nice work, Cole. Maybe Zane's not on the island, but in it." Kai said
"Quiet. Do you hear that?" Lloyd said
" Oh, secret peep holes. Ha, ha! Super cool! Sounds like someone's fighting on the other side of this wall." Jay said
What do you see? Who's fighting?
" It's not a fight. It's Skylor's room. And it looks like she's training." Jay said he was looking through.
" Let me see! Let me see!" Kai said and he climbed up.
" Oh, looks like Kai's got the hots for her." Cole said
"No, she's competition. I just wanna know what powers we're up against." Kai argued
"Wait your turn." Jay said
"We can at least share." Kai said
"Guys, this is an invasion of privacy." Lloyd said
"I agree... this is stupid watching Skylor is not going to help us find Zane!" Misty said irritated and then added, "plus your begin weird! Stop looking in on her, If you did that to me I would have killed you!"

"I bet you wouldn't mind if it were Lloyd," Cole muttered in Misty's ear to soft for Lloyd to hear, but he did notice how close Cole was to Misty and he frowned.

And Misty shoved Cole away from her, and hissed, "Shut it!"

"Her room doesn't reveal anything about her power." Kai complained
Both Jay and Kai gasped
"What was it? What did you see?" Cole asked
"She's.... fire Kai said

"Wait a minute. If we're all descendants of elemental masters..." Lloyd said
Cole laughed and said "Kai's heart is on fire. Kai's heart is on fire. Kai's heart is on fire."
"Enough! stop it Cole!" Misty said
"Can we please just keep moving? Huh it's like a maze down here. Good thing you're leaving a trail back to our room." Kai said to Cole he had taken the chocolate covered shell peas. with him and was eating them
but also dropping them.
