Cole vs Jay 37

Lloyd was standing with Cole and Kai was standing with Jay.
Beating up a punching bag with a picture of Jay tapped too it.
Misty was pacing back and forth while Lloyd was standing at watching Cole.
"You don't have to say it, It was inevitable we were going to have to face eachother, May as well be Jay, This fight's been a long time coming." Cole said to Lloyd and Misty
"Well, I'm not at peace with this, but that doesn't mean you still can't find peace with eachother, we don't have control when we fight but we do have control how we fight. Jay's not your enemy Chen is remember that." Lloyd said
"Wu once said the best way to defeat your enemy is to make him your friend, but how are you suppose to defeat your friend?" Cole said
The Bars on Cole's door slide down and Lloyd backed away. He grabbed Misty's arm and dragged her back too.
"Cole! You don't defeat your friend you lift them up!" Misty shouted over the Fanfare that began to play.
"You tried your best, the rest is up to them."Sensei said when Kai, Lloyd and Misty had gotten into the stands.
"I hope they can see that too" Lloyd said
" Let the tournament continue! Jay, Master of Lightning versus Cole, Master of-- " Chen began to say but didn't get to finish because Cole and Jay ran at eachother and began to fight.
Jay shot a bolt of lighting at Cole but Cole jumped over it.
He smashed the ground with his fist and sent earth mounds speeding at Jay who dodged it.
"Ha, ha. That's all you've got? Least Valuable ninja!" Jay shouted
"Eat dirt, Blue-belle!" Cole shouted back.
And Cole shot dirt at Jay. Jay countered by shooting lighting at Cole.
"I wish for once Cole would listen to me..." Misty sighed
"He does Misty, we all do... just sometimes we don't always realize what we're hearing is the best for us." Lloyd said
Jay and Cole we're both shooting there elemental powers at eachother at the same time. Which kept they both form begin hit.
But Jay's lighting seemed to be stronger.
"Stronger than you thought, eh? That's your betrayal flowing through my veins. " Jay shouted
"I'm looking forward to the peace and quiet when you're out of the tournament!" Cole shouted
Cole's earth then pushed Jay back hitting him and Jay fell to the ground.
"What are we doing? I don't want you out. You're not my enemy, Chen is." Cole said
"Oh, sure, lower my guard by pretending to be my friend, then swoop in to steal the prize. Typical Cole maneuver!" Jay said and he climbed back to his feet and both of his hands held lighting.
" I never meant to hurt you, Jay. If I knew it would destroy our friendship, I'd take it all back. " Cole shouted
" Well, if we're being honest, I was upset about losing Nya, but I take blame for that. I was more upset about losing you. We used to be good friends" Jay said
"The best! Right? We should've been honest with each other, instead of bottling this up."
"Agreed. But how are we supposed to stop fighting? We can't both win"
"Well, maybe we can draw it out till they call it a tie. Quick, attack me. But not hard"
Both began to "fight" again
"Ah, what is this? Patty cake? I'm bored!" Chen whined "Release the Condrai Crushers! "
Cars with spinning blades and lashing tails drove out of doors built into the arena.
"I've got your back." Cole said
"And I've got yours!" Jay said
Both shouted "Ninja Go!" and used their Spinjitzu.
The moved out of the way the drive crashed into the wall of the arena.
"Ah, they fight together. Good work, son" Garmadon said
" Yeah, I do listen to you every once in awhile. " Lloyd said
Cole then leapt into the are and smashed the ground with his fist.
A ramp was created out of dirt and the car flew up it Cole then grabbed it by it's tail and swung it around in a circle and flung it into another car.
The last remaining driver sped toward Jay who jumped and landed on the car he started zapping lighting into the driver. But the car was still moving and it got closers and closer to Cole.
The car stopped barley before it's blades touched Cole.
The crowd cheered and Jay gave Cole a high five.
"Enough! I know what you are trying to do. If neither of you will win, then both of you will lose!"
Chen then started pressing buttons and tiles began to fall inside the arena.
Jay and Cole jumped around trying to avoid falling.
"We can't both lose. Chen's right, there can only be one." Cole said
"And it should be you. You and I know I'm lucky to have even made it this far. You take the Jade Blade." Jay shouted
Cole ran for the Blade.
He climbed the pol it was on and picked it up but then threw it to Jay, who caught it.
"Winner! Loser. Master of Lightning moves on." Chen said
"She's yours, Jay. I should've bowed out long ago. Win this thing. " Cole said
Then Chen pressed a button and Cole fell.
"Ah. About time. Phew!" Chen said
"Cole may be gone, but he did not lose. Let what he did here today be a lesson for us all. Know thine enemy, but more importantly know thy friend. He fought like a true ninja." Garmadon said
Misty nodded and said
"He won't be gone for long, we're going to find Zane, Save Cole, defeat Chen and restore everyone's powers!"
