Lloyd was walking with Misty back to her room at first neither of them said anything. Until Lloyd broke the silence and said "Do you think it's Shadow?"
"To be honest no." Misty said
"Why?"
"Because if he is he spy he's a really bad one..."
"How so?"
"We'll I mean if I was a spy I would try to become the target's friend so then they would never suspect me, Shadow's not even trying to pretend to be friends and isn't exactly changing his attitude toward us to make us rethink the idea of it begin him."
"That's an interesting way to put it..." Lloyd said
"They had reached Misty room and Misty was about to enter but Lloyd said "Misty before you go can you please tell me why you've been acting like you have."
"Fine, I guess I couldn't keep it quiet for long..." Misty muttered
"The thing is... well you know the way Kai feels about Skylor... that's how I feel about you..."
"You like me?" Lloyd said "That's the reason you've been acting strange?"
"We'll your father told me that if you liked me back and if Chen saw us together then it would put an even bigger target on our backs.. and he might use one of us against the other..." Misty said
"Well, the fact is I actually like you a lot too Misty." Lloyd said "But my father's right we need to be careful for now but as soon as this tournament thing is over, I would like to see how everything will work out with you and me."
Misty smiled and said "I'm so happy that you understand."
Lloyd smiled and said "So do I, I'll let you get to bed, everyone need's to rested for whatever Chen might throw at us next."
"Agreed," And Misty slipped into her room and closed the door behind her.
When inside Misty was so happy, and she leaped into bed her bed and was soon asleep and for once in a long time she didn't have a nightmare.
