I stepped through Dr. Strange's portal once more, reuniting with Frigga. "I have good news." I smiled as she took me into her arms. "And you look well." She added, thankfully. We caught up and I filled her in on the plan.

As we neared the castle, Frigga cloaked the two of us in disguises. We looked as if we were servants, keeping our heads low and slinking through the halls. Approaching the throne room, we could see that every entrance was surrounded by guards. Frigga conjured up many warriors and had them bombard their way through as if they were staging an uprising. While all was in chaos, the two of us made our way through. We dodged and fought past anyone in our way. Loki stood in the distance, using his daggers to protect himself. Frigga approached him before I could. She had the warrior in his way vanish into thin air as she revealed herself. "My boy, look what you've become. This is not you. I know it." I could see the rage fuming on his face as he scoffed. "You don't truly know me." "I know you very well, silly boy, perhaps better than you know yourself." I watched as she pressed her palm to his chest, above his heart. Loki's eyes glazed over and I could tell that she was feeding him memories of happier times.

Pulling away from him, Frigga turned to me and threw my disguise. Loki's eyes met mine and they seemed to soften. I knew that she had shown him my secret. I dropped my hand to my belly, warily giving confirmation. "She needs you. We need you." Frigga offered. "Mother..." Loki whispered, almost desperately. Knowing that was his cry for help, Frigga and I began reciting the banishment spell that Dr. Strange had given us. We lifted our arms in a yanking motion as if to physically pull Chthon from Loki's body. "Loki, the book!" I called to him and he lifted it from his throne. He opened it and we pushed once more, jamming Chthon's essence into the pages before the Darkhold was slammed shut. Frigga spun a binding spell around it to keep it tight and then it fell to the ground. As we all stood there, out of breath, we looked around to see that the demons and warrior illusions alike had vanished. Loki fell to his knees, weakened, and I ran to him. I cradled him in my arms as Frigga ran to get help. "Thank you, my love." Loki whispered before falling limp in my arms.
