A/N: Sorry if I had this changed lmao. But I'm sticking on to the part of them being bestfriends. Enjoy reading!

IT was weird. Having a guy as your best friend as most people would've said. Although Juvia doesn't find it weird at all. To her, friendship isn't all about the gender and age difference. What matters is the special memories she came to spend with that person.

And that friend she's talking about is none other than the guy named, Gray Fullbuster who also happens to be the one whom she fell in love. Somehow, Juvia feels like she did something in her past life that made the gods from above grew infuriated to her that they decided to be cruel towards her fate. Because they had the guy she's interested in like another girl which is not her.

Juvia knows she wouldn't stand a chance on a beauty like her. The truth can often be really a pain in the ass but sometimes we just got to accept this things in life.

This significant feelings she has been carrying on her chest seems to grow every minute she's with him along with the pain that continually strucks on her heart whenever he talks to the girl he likes. Juvia guess she needs to endure all of this until these emotions fade away. Hopefully it will soon.

Juvia was so immersed in to the depths of her thoughts that she wasn't completely paying attention on where she's heading causing for her to bump into someone, "Ahㅡ!"

"Ow," She hissed in pain when the cemented floor came in contact with her bum.

"Are you okay? Gosh, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to get into your way or anything." Upon regaining her poise, she tilted her head to take a glance of the person she bumped into.

She froze in her position and her eyes widened when she took in his handsome features. The way the ends of his silver hair had sticked out in mainly different directions implies the look of a fictional hot guy that most girls would probably dreamed of having as their boyfriends. Her gaze then fell to his well-built body that no doubt he's been working out for almost everyday.

"Uhm miss?" He land a hand on her shoulder that made her feel goose bumps along with snapping her out of her reverie.

"J-Juvia's fine! Juvia should've been the one to apologize. It's her fault for not paying attention on where she's heading." Apologizing that comes with a bow, his cheeks flushed into hues of pink as he took in her unique way of speaking.

Never in his whole life he heard someone talk like that. Juvia might have thought it's just an absurd habit but to him, she actually sounds adorable.

Once she lifted her head to look at him, he beamed and lend out one of his hand to her, "I'm Lyon. Lyon Vastia. I assume your name is Juvia?"

Accepting his hand with her warm ones, she mentally face-palmed for her habit in speaking in third point of view, "Yes, it's Juvia Lockser. It's nice to meet you Lyon-sama."

He must've notice the way she called her that he stopped shaking their locked hands. But she picked up unto the change of his expression that she suddenly peeled her hand off of his and flail it in the air in embarassment, "Oh n-no, Juvia didn't mean to call you like that! It just came out cause it suits your nameㅡJ-Juvia meansㅡ"

His chuckle ended her blabbering to Juvia's relief as he stated, "It's fine. I'd love it if you call me that way. But it still depends on you."

"Well, if it's fine with you then there's no problem." Juvia clasped both of her hands and placed them on behind, unconsciously fiddling on her fingers from time and again.

"Then I'll see you around, beautiful." He lastly said not forgetting to give her a playful wink before leaving Juvia in daze.

-

Juvia lie on her stomach as she turned the pages of her childhood photo album, silently adoring each picture with Gray beside her. Every photo had her reminisce the nostalgic moments that a smile crawled its to her lips while she rested her chin on the palm of her hand.

"Juvia I have ordered a pizza delivery for dinner, is that fine with you?" Gray's voice rang just outside of her room in which she gave a satisfied tone.

Minutes after she decided to come downstairs at the living room and sat beside him on the couch, "Eh? Juvia likes pineapples on pizza."

"Well I don't." With food full on his mouth, he gave her a blunt reply, his eyes not leaving the television.

Her lips formed a pout as she continued whining until he said, "If you don't want it I could just eat them aㅡ"

"NO!" she yelled to his surprise and immediately took a slice.

She can't neglect her growling stomach just because she's craving for pizza with pineapples. Either way she'd eat them anyways.

While eating, Juvia can't help it but peek on to the raven-haired guy beside her. It seems like he is talking to an important person that he stopped taking slices of pizza. Curiosity took over her when she started to steal glances on his phone.

She was near on knowing the identity of his text mate until Gray stood up from the couch and started walking back and forth whilst muttering some words that Juvia desperately wants to know.

"Is something a matter, Gray-sama?" She asked but came to a regret to the next words he uttered to her.

"I asked her to go on a date with me and she said yes!" His voice blared in triumph that Juvia had to cover her ears.

A sigh left her lips in both annoyance and jealousy when she stood up and decided to get some water in the kitchen.

Suddenly, she was spun around and lifted in the air with a pair of strong arms around her waist, "G-Gray-sama put Juvia down!"

"Juvia, she said yes! I can't believe it!" He gently put her down, her tight grip on his arm not leaving just in case he's gonna recklessly let her go from his grasp.

Expecting his touch to leave her body, his arms remained on his waist and pulled her closer to him. The action itself surprised Juvia that she lifted her eye to his, locking stares with him. She took the opportunity to examine his dark orbs and noticed that it looked dull.

From his eyes, she could see herself. Her reflection. Deep inside, she expects for it to emit a spark. But no, those sparks aren't for her anyways so what's the point of expecting? She is hopeless enough to believe that he's going to change his mind and fall for her instead.

All of a sudden she felt discomfort in his arms. It's as if it's already owned by someone and she can't touch it. She pushed him hard enough and words of apology left her mouth.

His brows creased in confusion but shrugged it off to respond, "N-No, I'm sorry for doing that. I am just so happy."

"It's fine." She softly uttered before striding her way to her room.
