3 years after the wedding. Newt and Tommy moved to Australia with Teri and Minho.

Newt POV.

Sun shone blindingly in the late-afternoon, my eyes squinted to shield themselves. I'd fallen asleep a few hours ago and Tommy was the one driving, obviously. He'd been vanishing from our apartment quite frequently over the past couple days, inevitably because of our "anniversary" of dating. I love his sentimentality, but he was beginning to worry me with his vanishing act. For the past couple days my mind has been swirling with the usual 'what if's. What if he doesn't love me anymore? What if he's found someone he loved more than me? What if he doesn't need me anymore? Then, he'd awoken me early this morning and told me we were going on a day trip. Obviously, I was quite surprised. But, he used his puppy dog eyes and my heart had melted. He still refused to tell me where we were going, but I learned long ago that my Tommy can be quite good at being stubborn.

"Wait here for a bit, I'll be back soon." Tommy quickly stopped the car and gently pushed me out. What is he up to? When the car drove away I glanced at my surroundings. The park was almost dream-like. Green leaves swayed in the breeze as the grass sung it's own whispery tune. Birds flitted across the sky, saying words humans will never know. The sun danced amongst the blades of grass and heart-shaped leaves, casting patterns upon the forest floor. I was just about to walk over to the trees when a small boy stopped me. He looked so young, his pudgy hand grasped onto my trouser leg as his wonder-filled eyes stared up at me. His mother looked so distressed at her child's actions, her auburn hair bouncing as she ran over to catch her son, who's matching hair was shifting slightly with the breeze. But the boy spoke before she could say anything.

"Mistew? Is vhat youw souelmate? Mama told me vhat evewyone havs one, so is he youws?" The boy spoke with a bright smile, one of his front teeth missing. I was taken aback a bit by the boy's question, his mother making it over and scooping the boy up in her arms.

"Sir I am so sorry! I turned around for a second and he's already annoying some poor stranger. I hope he didn't say anything offensive." The woman said frantically, making me chuckle.

"It's perfectly fine, he just asked me if the man who dropped me off is my soulmate." I say simply, her cheeks flushing red.

"Rory! What have I told you about meddling in other people's love-lives!" The woman looked at the boy, Rory, and spoke embarrassedly. "I'm so sorry, Rory just seems to be really fascinated with love, even at the age of 7." I chuckle again and place a reassuring hand on the woman's arm.

"It's ok, really." I smile warmly and the woman relaxes. "And Rory, yes, I think Tommy is my soulmate." I say with a smile, thinking of my amazing boyfriend.

"I'm happy for you." The woman said with a kind smile. "My name's Karen." The woman said as she set Rory down, keeping hold of the small boy's hand and making him pout.

"Newt." I say, holding a hand out for her to shake.

"Well, this little demon and I best get back to our barbecue. Say bye-bye Newt." Karen said, looking at Rory.

"Buh-bye Niewt" Rory smiled and waved at me as him and Karen walked away. I returned the gesture and walked over to the trees, sitting down and relaxing against a tree trunk.

"Newtie, let's go!" Tommy yelled, opening my car door for me. I got in and buckled up, glancing at Tommy. We were silent for the trip, enjoying the scenery. When Tommy parked the car, I drew in a sharp breath as I took in the view before me. There was a grassy glade, cutting off abruptly with a cliff. Beyond that was a vast expanse of water; the ocean. A picnic was set up beside the cliff, red and black checkered blanket fluttering slightly in the mild breeze, being held down by a picnic basket. Tommy grabbed my hand and led me to the blanket, pulling me down beside himself.
