Going back down all the winding streets we were finally back. It was late so it was very dark outside and I was tired from our long day. As I was unloading the car Chris picked up a large wooden box with black markings on it. They didn't say anything in particular but something about it made him ask me what it was.
"What the, what is this it weighs a ton!" He said and placed down on the table. He reached forward to open it but I told him I would do it. I walked over and undid the 4 latches that held it shut. Then I took the key the was around my neck and put it through the small keyhole. And with that, it unlocked to reveal 20 throwing knives. They were all different sizes and shapes. Some were long and a little rounded at the end. Some sharp enough to kill.
He said nothing and just looked stunned when Finn walked over, and he too marveled at the knives. I then took another key that was around my neck and unlocked the bottom which revealed a Smith and Wesson-M&P shield gun.
It was my personal collection and I always carried one around,(knife) at the back of my neck. I think I scared or intimidated them because they slowly backed away when I took it out. But Finn ran back up next to my side eager to see the collection. His eyes were sparkling with joy.
"I haven't thrown a knife since I was 12! May I?" He stood waiting for an answer when I nodded my head. He eagerly picked one up and did a little dance. Then I watched him trying to find a target, he picked an assortment of things before settling on a pizza box. He propped it up and began to aim. He had the sharp end facing him slowly bringing it to and frow from him. Then throwing it as gracefully as I have ever seen it hit the target right in the middle.
"Ha! I still got it, hey how good are you?" He said looking at me while Chris also gained up on me.
"Yeah, you might have an impressive collection, but can you really throw?"
Without a word, I walked over and choose the smallest knife the most difficult one to handle by far. And with that it took me about 2.5 seconds to throw it, I hit it center. Dead center, to the point where it knocked off Finn's knife. I turned around and saw their stunned faces.
"I guess living alone in the city isn't that big of a deal", I walked passed them and went to my room. I closed the door and realized it was 5:00. I tried to imagine what each of them would be like. But there was honestly no way of telling.
I began to unbutton my flannel when I heard someone knocking at my door. I quickly buttoned up my shirt again but left the top two undone. I looked through my peephole and saw it was Chris, so I eagerly opened the door.
"Hey remember that party is tomorrow do you have anything you can wear?" He walked and went straight to my closet. He began pushing my hangers aside looking through all my clothes while I just stood there and watched.
"I have some jeans and a yellow blouse I can where." I didint know what to wear I had never been to a party in high school.
He turned around to face me and pushed my hair behind my ear. Then smoothed it all to one side and leaned down to kiss my now bare neck. I felt his breath along my neck and collar bone. It was driving me crazy I wanted him more then I could ever admit.
"You," he lifted his head up to face me and looked into my eyes. "Are so innocent."
"And what is that supposed to mean?" I asked playfully, I was trying my best at flirting. I got up on the tip of my shoes and kissed him on the cheek. I dropped back down to my normal height and he held me close to him. His arms wrapped around the top of my back, then glided to my lower back. He picked me up and held me in the air playfully.
I didint say anything I was having too much fun. He lowered me back down but still held me like a baby. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he bent down and kissed me. I kissed him back eager too, so eager too. I raised myself up to him and kissed him again and again. He put me down and kissed my neck and collar bone, and then began to slow down.
"We need to take you shopping," he said in between kisses.
"So soon?" I didint want this to end. I wanted to keep going I wanted things to get more serious between us.
"I'm afraid so my sunshine, but we can continue later." He kissed the top of my forehead and began to leave.
"Let me grab my purse, I will be out in a minute," I told him reaching for my mini backpack. It already had about $130 in it, I guess that will be enough. I took it off my chair and headed out and he was already by the door ready to go. Keys in hand and putting his wallet in his pocket, he looked up at me and flashed a smile. Finn and Sam were sitting on the couch playing super smash brothers.
"Hey," Sam said yelling at us, "The rest of the guys should be home soon."
"Alright, you ready to go?" I swung my arm around him locking the door behind us.
"Yep, but just so you know I only like to shop for books. So clothes are gonna be a bore for me."
"Ha, then I will do the shopping for you. I love to shop."
"Ok, whatever makes you happy."
