Queen Lilac hadn't spoke yet and that appeared to be what we were waiting for.
"You mean," she started her voice sounding furious and her chest was bright red. "That Sam Nedell is behind this? I would have never granted him anything! We must see Marcus and speak to him before he can do anything. Or this may become worse then we could imagine."
She stood up and so did everyone else. Ollie suggested he and Oliver scan the portal to make sure no one had entered it. Or tampered with it, sending someone to another portal, or realm. But Queen Lilac told us that Gloria was guarding it. When she said this I noticed Max's face glow up. A wide smile spreading across his face. I have never seen him look so happy before. He probably likes her. I turned my head and noticed he was floating. Chris told that sometimes when witches feel sudden burst of happiness they float. I couldn't help but giggle in my head, this was adorable.
Chris must've noticed because he walked over and took my hand. He then moved his lips down and kissed my forehead, and I heard a muffled laugh.
"Why do you always smell like lavender?" He said quietly next to my ear.
"Probably cause I take baths." I said and we kept walking. We were behind everyone heading back to the portal. I looked around and took advantage of our short privacy. I pulled his shirt down to me and kissed him. After realizing him I looked down out of curiosity. He was floating.
