Finally the day of the big end of the year party arrived. I was nervous I hate parties. The only ones I ever did enjoy were the ones that the book club threw. They were peaceful and quite. Which I know this one wont be like that. I slipped on the dress I choose and kept my hair down and clipped it back with a black rose bobby pin. I walked out to see everyone else was ready. Even though they never went to school Sam, Finn, Liam, Oliver and Ollie also were going. Maximus and Chris were the only ones who went to school regularly.
"Ready?" Chris asked me.
"Yeah I guess." I shrugged I hated this. I knew I was really gonna hate this. But at least they were going. All except Sam, I could have lived another day if he didn't come. I noticed when we got in Ollies jeep his usual purplish hair was sort of glowing. In a weird beautiful way. But I wouldn't ask him about it, he was so serious that sometimes it scared me.
"Alright part-tay!" Maximus screamed as hopped out of the jeep.
"Don't get drunk!" Ollie and Finn yelled at the same time. But Maximus was already gone into a crowd of drunk looking people. Great. Just fantastic. Well at least if they're drunk they wont remember anything in the morning.
"Come on," Chris opened the door for, I stepped out and walked up the pavement hand in hand with him. This is it no going back now, I thought as we entered the doors. At first everything seemed pretty normal until I saw a bunch of kids playing with a Ouija board. They had candles and everything. I started to laugh at the sight of it.
"What?" Chris asked me. I nodded my head in there direction.
"Don't they know that thing doesn't work? It is simply there nerves that are pushing it around." I stated plainly.
"Yeah idiots. Let's get something to eat, even if you hate all of this there is free food."
"Good point." We walked over to the table of pizza and saw Hunter and his gang. They were around the cooler of beer. None of us are old enough to drink. I wonder which sibling brought it in.
"Hey there!" he greeted Chris warmly, his eyes then wandered down to me. "What's with the show book worm?"
"Oh just wanted to see how a couple of losers spent your time." Chris looked down at me shocked his mouth open like a codfish.
"To long cousin far to long." he leaned in for a hug and I hugged back. He smelled strongly of beer, and vodka.
"You guys are related? Wait then why didn't you invite her in the first place?"
"Eh I don't know I figured she wouldn't come even if I did invite her." He shrugged his shoulders. He did have a point he always would invite me but I never went.
The rest of the night consisted of dancing. Not me of course but I watched. Lots of drinking and beer pong being played. I saw Ollie a few times near the Ouija board but he never played it. Maximus was near the beer pong table most of the night. I however saw Sam trying his best at the demon game. (aka Ouija) But I didn't care. Chris stayed with me most of the night. Near the end I saw Liam and Oliver running a hundred miles per hour at us.
"Look!" Oliver screamed he threw off his shirt and turned around. He had a little dragon on his shoulder. It was done in white ink just like him moon cycle tattoo. Liam also had a dragon on his ankle, except his looked like the dragon from Mulan.
"Liam you too." I said laughing at them. They were so excited I couldn't take them seriously. They began to wrap back up there tattoos so they wouldn't get infected. Chris just rolled his eyes. I guess this night wasn't absolutely terrible. In fact I actually had a bit of fun.
