"Maximus!" I ran over to him and the guards threw him on the ground before I could reach him. They then turned around leaving. Maximus was bleeding everywhere. His head had knots on them and his wrist appeared to be broken. He had a few scars on his arms and he was missing his shirt so it revealed all the whip lashes on his back.

I went to pull him up but he tried to smack me, not with any force for he had none left.

"Max its Flora." I got on the ground and propped him up and laid him down on my lap. I knew it was wise to bring some of Ollie's bandage healers. That's what I called them. You poured some over any wound and it healed up instantly. I popped open the bottle and started to pour some on his chest. He arched his back up and moaned. It must hurt, so I tore off a piece of my cloak and soaked it then gently dabbed it on his face.

     "What-"

"You be quiet. I sent my self down here as a trade."

"No" he grabbed my wrist but I easily flung him off. I continued to dab his forehead which was beginning to look a lot better.

"Chris, does he know?" he practically choked out the words. I grabbed some of the water I had left and let him drink it.

"I imagine he does by now. I only left a note behind." I glanced over at Marcus and his crew and they were just talking to one and another as if we weren't there. Sabina came over and knelt down helping me. She mumbled something and made bread, for him to eat. It was weird to watch but fascinating.

"Badass." was all he said when I finished wiping his face, he still had knots on his forehead.

"Sabina," was all I said and she conjured up something and told me to apply pressure and push it to the knots. I grabbed it and did as she said. It looked like a seashell with foam inside.

"That's because it is," she said giggling. "They are only around this realms beaches but they have healing properties so I keep them close to me all the time. I'm very clumsy." I laughed. Smiled. I haven't done that in a while. And I embraced it.

"Now we need to flip him over."

"I got it." She pulled out her wand and gently turned lifted him in the air then turned him over. Marcus was still just talking and drinking tea. What is up with that man?

"How long till he arrives do you think?"

"Oh, not long he's known for his heroic acts." He was getting stronger and had finished off the bread. Sabina then made him some soup. He propped himself up on his elbows so he could eat it. He was getting so much better that it made me feel better. All morning I was horrified he may be dead, or Marcus wouldn't cooperate. But this was going on surprisingly easy. Too easy.

    "I agree," she said.

"Agree to what?" Max asked his mouth full of soup.

"Nothing, now try and sit still I'm going to get this on me," Sabina said. I pulled off my gloves and put them under his elbows stone couldn't have felt nice.

Ten more minutes passed and Maximus was all healed up. I hugged him when we stood up and made sure I didn't miss anywhere.

"Tell Chris is was for the best ok?" His face suddenly became sad, and his eyes filled with tears.

"There has to be another way!" he hugged me again and it almost made me cry.

"I agreed to this and knew fully of what I was getting myself into. Now Sabina and I talked and she will take you back and explain what happened. Your job is to be brave and don't look back."

"Hurry he's getting impatient," Sabina whispered.

"Thank you for everything." I hugged her and she hugged back too. I turned to look at them one more time, then began to walk forward to my fate. My destiny, my end.
