My Crazy Life

Cornered

     "Finally you're done with you're goodbyes. Some of my guards will take you down to the dungeons!" He looked generally happy. I just nodded and waited. I heard someone come in but didint pay any attention.

    "Now if anyone objects-" 

     "We object!" I heard Chris and the others yell, I turned to see them standing in a V-formation. Saying that would only put them in danger. I didint run to them, I knew doing that would only put Max back in danger.  But none of this was ever about him it was about them wanting Ollies secrets and I was jsut a lucky bonus.

     "Guys she wont listen to you." Sabina said. Then I could here her in my mind tell me that she was the crazy ex of Chris. So is that's why you saved me, because of Chris? She nodded her head. I was honestly fine with that. She smiled a little when Chris began to talk.

     "Marcus your business is not with her or Max its with Ollie but I know what he knows. So let them go and-"

     "No. Sir, listen you promised my deal first let them leave and you can have me. Thats what you wanted in the first place. Now may we get on with it?" I walked up ready to do this. I came here for a purpose and  Im not letting anyone die just to save me.

     "Flora you dont know what he will do to you." Ollie stated he was standing to Chris's right and to his left was Oliver. Behind him was Liam, and across him was Mark.

     "I saw what he did to Maximus." I motioned to him.

     "So you took my bandages, as you call them." 

     "I think you owe someone an apology!" Mark said. 

     "Now, now children. I will be taking Miss Flora down to the dungeons. Now if you leave now Ill only send one troll after you." 

     "Sorry," Chris said pulling out his wand and so did everyone else. "But that deal just wont work for me." He yelled and suddenly I was whipped away from Marcus and was behind Chris. 

    Marcus yelled for his guards but noone was coming.  All of his men began to look franticly around them. They were all standing except one. He looked bored honestly.

     "We took care of them so now its just you and your dogs." Chris scared me at time but right now I feel a bit safer.

    "Very well." Was all he said and he whipped his wand around the pillars that were on either side of us. They began to fall when Oliver threw down a red powder. I was expecting to be crushed so I tried to run but Chris held me right where I was. He smiled and I realzied this was the first time he got to hold me and we both felt safe. But there are rocks about to fall so I dont kow what he is smileing about! When the smoke cleared I understood. The red powder formed a bubble around us like a shiled and it kept any debree from hitting us. Oliver touched the top of it and it disappeared.

     "That all you got old man?" Mark yelled and waved his wound above there heads and pulled the roof down on them. However they used the same tactic and we did. 

    After the smoke cleared, Marcus said " Seven to six" Just then Sam approached ready to fight. He and Chris locked eyes. Then he turned to me. "Gloria is outside keeping the trolls asleep you stay with her till were done." he instructed. 

     "Im not leaveing you! I caused this whole mess and I am going to see it threw." I stood firmly where I was and realized I was defenseless. But maybe I could be a decoy or something. 

     He kissed my forehead and squezzed me tight.

     "You always were stubborn weren't you." Suddenly I heard Sabina in my head. "He's gonna teleport you. Let go for just a seconed then grab him. He'll go with you wherever he teleported you." I didint say anything but I did exactly what she said and it worked. There was a whiz of smoke then we were outside with Gloria.

     "Damnit Sabina!" and he arched his wand up and he was gone again. Gloria was sitting on top of the troll Sabina called Kazko.

     "Gloria!" I said running up to her. "I have to get back inside. You have to help me!" she was sipping tea.

     "Would you like some? It's dragon fruit my favorite." She turned her head to face the cresent moon above us. 

     "Tea, what, no I dont want any. Maybe later but not now. I need to get back in!" She continued to ignore me when I turned to face the door she finally spoke.

     "It's Silver Moon's order not to let you in. You could get hurt! And besides they will be done and over with in just a bit. So sit back and relax well be fine." Just then the ground began to rumble and shake under my feet. 

     "Oh no it wont." Suddenly she stood up and we both saw a huge army of black knights running towards us. The black on there uniforms was so deep and dark that they were hardly seen. 

     "Go inside and tell Ollie the army is back and he needs to summon his now!" She hopped off the troll and landed next to me. She then made a huge balck steel wall around the castle.

     "That should hold em' for a bit, now let's go inside." She whizzed us in and I fortuantly landed next to Ollie. 

     "Ollie!" It was so loud I could hardly hear myself think. "The army is back summon your army!" And so he did he pulled out what looked like another wand but it expanded into a large staff. He slammed the end of it on the ground and the stone on top glew purple. His eyes turned white and wind began to blow around him. 

     "Army of the frozen realm! I demand thee to arrive at thy destination! Be ready to fight the black knights of Yeoroc!" And he realsed the staff and it evaporated before it hit the ground. 

     "They are outside fighting now. Climb to the towers and stay there and stay hidden. I will come find you when the fight has ceased." he turned around and killed one of Marcus's men. 

     Just when the fight seemed to ease there was a clamor at the gates. And both the armies were now inside fighting. Could this get any worse? I scurried around looking for Chris but I couldn't find him. And Sam was also missing, so I began to go to each door on this floor looking and listening for them. Finally I heard rocks smashing and grunts coming from the great hall. And there they were fighting Chris seemed to be losing.

     "That's cheating Sam and you know it!" at first I didn't get what he was saying then I saw it. A great two headed dog was attacking him not Sam. Chris after a struggling to get them off killed the beast and turned to face him.

     "What did we ever do to make you hate us so?" he asked and knocked him to his feet. And a great gust of cold air came and froze him where he stood. So that he couldn't move his legs.

     "You freaks got to use magic. And I wanted to join you but you denied me!" And he lashed out of the ice, sending icicles towards Chris who used a little try to block them from hitting his face. 

     "Humans aren't meant to wield the power of witch's and warlock's. That is the only reason why!" He sent a fiery ring around Sam's feet making it impossible to leave where he was.

     "Oh yeah then why am I winning?" and he dumped water on the fiery ring. And had Chris cornered ready to kill him. I have to do something. I cant just stand here! I ran over and just as he was about to kill him I leaped in front. The last thing I saw was Chris's face of disbelief and it wore an expression of "Why are you here".  And disbelief, sadness and sorrow all at once.
