"Nora? What- what happened?" Chris said running over to me. I crumpled on the ground and just sat there. How could he know? Lucky guess maybe. No. That can't be it, it just can't be. Chris picked me up which wasn't necessary so I tried to scramble out of his arms, but he didn't let me.
"Sit still." he said laughing then he put me in a chair. I never asked where he worked before but from the sighs I could see it was a family owned business. A cute little general store that sold just about everything.
"Now what happened, because I told you to not use this unless it was an emergency. I'm going to trust that is what that is. Now you don't have to talk I am gonna use a spell that will let me see what you saw. Is that ok with you?"
I nodded my head and he mumbled a few words. I held me temples and rubbed them counter clockwise. It went on like that for about five minutes before he stopped. He backed up and mumbled something. I didn't say anything I just sat there and waited for him to talk.
What started out to be a silent scream grew into to an enormous one. He started pacing back and forth and mumbled something again.
"I knew I shouldn't have told you. I- I thought that he wouldn't be able to find out. Now I have put you threw or you're going to go threw. It it's just unspeakable. They wont hurt you I promise no matter what you'll be safe. I-"
"Hey clam down." I told him, standing up to join him. I hugged him tightly, what does he mean by all this? Well I can only think of one thing and that is for me to leave. Tonight before I can cause him or anybody else any trouble. I let go and kissed him then began to leave.
"Wait where are you going?" he said following me to the door.
"To pack, I cant put you or anyone else in danger." I felt the stupid tears collecting on my face. I blinked to try and keep them back but it was no use. He grabbed my hands and held them tightly.
"My sunshine, you cannot run from then. We could take you to the moon and they could still track you."
"Who?" I asked sounding weak, I hated sounding weak. And I always will at least I can fake a face but my voice has a mind of its own.
"The council." he sighed and began to shake his head. "We have to go on a trip. To the realm Lilanian where Queen Lilac resides. She is a good friend of ours and will hopefully help us. She really hates Sam and would hate to see him get his own way."
"Ok, how do we get there?" I asked. He smiled and hugged me. Before backing away he kissed my forehead.
"First we have to get the guys ready."
