Mia didn't criticize me once after I've told her my true feelings for Stefano, instead she smiled. "Mona, I just know that things will work out between you guys. Remember that time that Stefano told you his feelings towards a girl, but she's in love with his brother."
I think back to the night of the Masquerade Ball when we were standing in the garden. "I remember that night Mia, but Stefano only said that he has feelings for the girl. He never said anything about love, so the only thing I see is lust and that is not enough for me."
"Look Mona, Diablo told me how Stefano went off at work because men started showing interest in you. If that is not jealousy, then I don't know." I sigh and played with my fingers. "Mia, the only reason he did that, is because I'm pregnant with his child and maybe because he wants me in his bed again."
"What if I can proof to you that Stefano have feelings for you," Mia says with a grin on her face. "Mia, what are you planning, because I just know that look." She got off my bed and walked to the door, then look back at me over her shoulder. "Watch and learn sis, watch and learn." With that said, she walks out my room. I shake my head and got up. I take a quick shower and dress in short shorts and a loose t-shirt, I didn't bother with undies. It is so hot this evening, so I walked out of my room and joyed Mia in the kitchen.
Mia fried some fish, so I decided on making us a salad to go with it. We carried our food to the living-room, because its more comfy there and sat down. While eating, Mia tells me about the engagement party. "I'm not sure how many will attend, but I've invited a few friends from work. Some of Diablo's family will be there and I think a few friends of the family. The party will be hosted this Saturday evening at six."
I finish my food the same time as Mia and together we took our plates back to the kitchen. "Mia, do you mind making us some tea while I go brush my teeth. I walk to my room and to my bathroom. I open the faucet and water spray everywhere. "Damn it," I shout out while closing it quickly. I take my toothbrush and used Mia's bathroom, then walk out, toothbrush still in my hand. "Mia, remind me to phone the plumber in the...." I froze on the spot when I see Stefano standing at the front door. He was busy talking to Mia.
At my approach both looked in my direction. Stefano looked like he was in a trance, while Mia tried hiding a big smile. "What are you doing here Stefano, is there a problem at the office." He opens his mouth, but no words came out. I look up and into his eyes and saw him looking straight at my body, so I looked down at myself and feel myself blush, as my shirt was soaking wet and plastered to my body.
I count to ten, then looked up at Stefano again. He was still standing in the same position, so I cleared my throat and walked forward. "Stefano, why are you here, because I don't think it was to look at my body all night."
He seems to snap out of his trance and blinked his eyes a few times. "I....I... Uh, I tried phoning you, but because you didn't answer, I came over. I need the Brecket file before tomorrow morning and can't find it." I sigh. "Sorry, my battery died, but the file is locked up at the office in your top draw." He nods his head, but still stood, while looking at me.
"Stefano, are you gonna stand there all night, or is there anything else you need." I see heat in his eyes, then he looks down for a second, before looking at me one more time. "I guess I'll see you at the office tomorrow," he says in a hoarse voice. I here Mia's snickering behind me and rolled my eyes. "Good night Stefano, hope you sleep well." I close the door in his face and turned around to see Mia laughing her ass off and rolled my eyes again.
