Chapter 10

You were in a strange place you had never seen before, the entire ground was covered by water that seemed to have gone on forever, nothing else was there, only the endless grounds of water and the beautiful sunset sky. You blinked and suddenly a green cloaked figure appeared, they seemed to be female by the looks of it, the figure took off their hood to reveal (h/s) (h/l) (h/c) hair just like yours before they turned around to face you. Your face turned to one of shock, you were looking at a perfect duplication of yourself only it was older, it wasn't by much but enough to notice a difference although there were a few key differences, the replica's clothes were slightly altered, the blouse was the same although the wings of freedom weren't on the navy blue anymore, the uniform skirt was replaced with a more normal one that was navy blue instead of brown and the white pants were replaced with white leather leggings with combat boots that matched the skirt and the gloves were navy blue instead of (f/c), additionally she had arm guards on the mid section of her forearms just below her elbows. The biggest difference appearance wise you noticed was in her face, the duplicate had a deep scar that went from the bottom corner of her right eye all the way diagonally across her nose to the bottom corner of the left one, not only that but she was wearing combat glasses similar to Hanji's with the right lens being completely tinted black and the skin surrounding her right eye looked completely burned off. The last key difference was the ODM gear, the blades were in the sheaths like normal but the grips were completely different, she was holding them inwardly sideways and they were attached to rings that held some strange weapons that looked like spears, there was another set of rings attached to her arm guards that further kept the weapons in place. She opened her mouth and spoke to you "Make the right choice"

You woke up and propped your head up with your hand on your forehead "Right....choice?" you asked yourself aloud. After trying to decipher the words spoken to you by what you could only assume was your future self for a few minutes you carefully swung your legs off the side of the bed, before you put your feet on the ground you put your hand over your right eye 'Am I really gonna lose this?' after putting your feet on the ground and standing up you stopped thinking about your dream and went to your dresser, you put on your undergarments followed by a (f/c) strapless dress that stopped just below your knees and topped everything off with your ODM straps and matching knee length combat boots. You started to style your hair in the way you liked it before you thought back to a few nights ago.

You slowly opened the door to the messhall seeing Eren and Levi, you pulled out a chair next to Levi and sat down "Sorry I'm late" you told them before grunting in pain, there was some serious damage done to your back when you hit that tree back in the forest and it was gonna take a while to heal. Levi then grunted and held his leg then Eren started talking "It's my fault guys I made the choice. If I'd have thought this through none of this...we wouldn't...." that's when Levi started talking "You made a judgement call, look no one expects you to be clairvoyant" after he said that the door opened and Erwin came in "Sorry to keep you waiting" you looked at him and saw it wasn't only himself but Jean, Mikasa and Armin as well "Why're you guys here?" you asked and Erwin responded to you "We believe we have uncovered the female titan's identity, she won't slip away this time" you let out a feint 'hmm' before nodding "I see, I've had my suspicions for a long time as well let us discuss then" everyone took a seat and Erwin put one of his famous maps on the table "The day after tomorrow we'll be passing through Stohess district in route to the capital that's when we'll strike, it'll be our first and only chance to do so. Once we step foot in the interior the government will assume authority of Eren and the scouts' authority to continue operations will be limited thus unless we wish to concede defeat we must flush out the enemy now. So here's what we do, while in Stohess we use Eren as bait luring the target into this underground passage the deeper the better and get her well below street level. That done she should be easily immobilized even in titan form, if she transforms before reaching the tunnel well at that point she'll be your responsibility Eren"
