"And that's the plan, we intentionally give out more information than we should and bait whoever's the culprit out into our trap" Erwin finished explaining and you nodded before talking "And we let everyone that isn't in the know think that next month's operation is just an excursion so as to not tip the perpetrator off, furthermore we give out maps to certain individuals with each of them having false locations where Eren will be located, seems like a sound plan to me" "Then it's settled, we set our bait tomorrow"

It had now been a few weeks since you hatched the plan with Erwin, currently you were watching Jean give a speech to Eren in a storage area. They hadn't seen you yet save for Eren so you thought now would be a good time to get reacquainted with everyone "Couldn't have said anything better myself" you said walking out of the shadows you were hiding in, everyone went wide eyed as they saw you "(F/N)? Is that really you?" Daisy asked as if it were too good to be true and you just chuckled and responded "Best believe it is" then everyone gave you a group hug before they let you go, Jean looked at you and started talking "It's good to see you again" you had to admit, it felt nice to see Jean in the scouts "It's good to see you too Jean" you said back to him with a smile then Sasha started talking "Hey (F/N), what's with the weird getup?" she asked tilting her head in confusion "My uniform? Hanji had it special made, it suits me much more than the standard uniform" then Sarah asked you a question with a bright smile "You haven't been slacking off while we've been gone have you?" this made you chuckle "I wish I had a chance to there's no free time when you're a specialist" this made everyone gasp "Wait you're telling me it hasn't even been a month and you've already climbed up to specialist?" Ymir asked you with an eyebrow raised "I started as a specialist, the brass thought I earned it" you informed her "So does that mean you're like our boss?" Connie asked you "Yep! I've even had to order this goofball around a few times" you said lightly hitting eren's shoulder making Daisy smile "I'd expect nothing less from you" which made you smile back at her "Alright it's getting late you guys should get to your sleeping quarters" and with that everyone went off.

One month later~

"FORWARD!!!! IT'S OFFICIALLY BEGUN THE 57TH RECON MISSION, SCOUTS MOVE OUT!!!!" you were up in the front with Hanji, Erwin and Mique. Eventually Erwin deployed the long range scouting formation and you guys continued with the plan, when word of the right wing's demolition came through Erwin sent off a green flare for everyone to head east towards a forest, your suspicions were pretty much confirmed at this point and you guys were going to catch whoever this person was and bring them in. The command squad had reached the entrance to the forest then Erwin started talking "Titans have used this path, lack of vegitation's a giveaway it should be a cinch for the wagons" he then gave orders to other soldiers "Inform everyone behind us- only the center wagon defense squad is to enter this forest" they broke off with a "Yes sir!" leaving only you Erwin Mique and Hanji. After getting a little bit further into the forest the trap was set up all there was left to do was to wait for the signal, while you were waiting you thought back to a few weeks ago.

Flashback

Hanji had you on watch in case Eren had gone rogue, after the failed experiment you were sitting on a bench drinking some water until that lightning you were all too familiar with struck. You immediately kicked it into gear and ran over to Eren and saw Levi squad running at him with their blades drawn you quickly flipped into the space between Eren and cut them off , "Calm down" you said to them as they looked at you aggressively "The situation is complicated, now calm. down." you told them again in a stern voice, they soon surrounded Eren making you back flip onto the carcass after that they all started freaking out "Eren! What the hell do you think you're doing, no one gave you permission to transform did they!?" Eld yelled at him "I said calm down" you told him trying to diffuse the situation but oluo yelled over you "Answer the question Eren what got into you!?" then Gunther jumped in "Leave it explinations can come later, first things first you need to persuade us you're not hostile like your life depends on it PROVE IT OR WE KILL YOU, THE BURDERN OF PROOF IS YOURS KID!!!" then oluo continued "So much as twitch an arm and I'll lob your head off this is the first and only warning you'll recieve! I can end you in a heartbeat DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME BOY!?" you started getting really pissed off "Oluo how many goddamn times do I have to say it!?" you yelled at him then Petra started yelling at you "Specialist! I need you to step away you're too close!" that's when your patience had run out and you drew your own blades "Right now I believe you're the ones who need to step away. Do it" you told them in a threatening tone "Why on earth!?" "I gave you an order" you said cutting her off before she could say another word.
