The next Morning, Monique was awakened by the sun beaming through the thin curtains. She smiled a wide smile whilst gazing over at the wall as she began to think back to what had went down with her and David last night.
Being a former escort she had slept with quite several men, but none of them had made her feel how David made her feel last night. She had never experienced sex so powerful, intense and passionate in her life and it made her knees weak just thinking back to it. As she closed her eyes she could still feel his every touch and kisses all over body. He had to have felt something for her, people just don't have mind-blowing sex like that out of the blue without some feelings being involved, but for some reason Monique was too scared to ask.
Minutes later, she turned to the side to see that David wasn't laying next to her and she quickly scrunched up her face in confusion. "David" she called running her hands through the duvet, before climbing out the bed. She quickly threw on some clothes and walked out the bedroom, wondering if he had already gone home seeing as today was the day they were going to pick up her sister Jada from prison.
She went to call his name once again but stopped as she strolled into the kitchen to see him making breakfast and a smile began to spread across her face. She leaned on the door frame and admired his beautiful shirtless body for a brief moment, before walking up to him.
"Good morning..." David uttered, stopping what he was doing to look down at her. "I hope you don't mind me borrowing your kitchen, I made you some breakfast... thought you might be hungry".
Monique smiled up at him thankfully and he quickly smiled back. For a short while they stood in silence just staring at each other and it wasn't as awkward as they thought it'd be.
David took a step closer to her before opening his mouth to speak up. "Last night was-
"Amazing..." said Monique, finishing off his sentence for him.
"Yes, it was amazing... very" he chuckled lightly.
Monique slowly got on her tip-toes and snaked her arms around his neck, leaning closer to his face. "Who knew a gentleman like you could be so dirty" she whispered, causing him to smirk before quickly placing a kiss on his lips. She pulled away from him seconds later to take a bite out of the bacon he made.
"I'm giving you a couple days off next week so you can spend it with your sister, I know you two need the quality time" David stated, pushing a strand of her hair back and grasping her cheek.
Monique lowered her head and let out a deep breath before speaking up. "I just can't believe she's finally coming home" she exclaimed, choking up on her words. "The day I found out she was going to jail it was pretty much the worse day of my life. Jada's not perfect, but she's really all I have... I just can't wait to bring her home".
"You know she's very lucky to have a sister like you... I wish my sister was more like you growing up" he chuckled, before taking a sip of his coffee.
"You have a sister? I thought you were an only child"
"Well I had... I don't really talk about her much, but she died the year I had my son, Jay... she died in a car crash, same way my father died too" he explained briefly as Monique gazed up at him. From what she knew about David so far, his mother, father and sister were all dead, and he had went through a pretty messy divorce last year, but he still managed to remain positive and that was one of the things she admired the most about him. He had lost a lot of people in his life, but you would never be able to tell just by being around him.
"Don't worry about it, it happened years ago" he murmured, pulling her closer to him.
"Don't tell me not to worry because I feel like you say that to a lot of people and I'm not like everybody else in your life... you've done so many nice things for me, looking out for you is the least I could do" she said, crossing her arms across her chest.
