                                                                              ~* ~ *~

Slowly opening my eyes awaking from a deep sleep, is when I eventually remember where I am, and it's Caleb's apartment. A chilly gust of wind suddenly brushes against my arms and face, the only parts of my body not covered by the soft blankets. I turn my neck to the side and realize that the window is open, and it doesn't look very bright outside. I'm able to tell that it's daytime and because the time on the clock is ten in the morning, so it just must not be a beautiful day since there is no sun shining into the bedroom. I nearly jump when I see a flash of lightning with a loud rumble of thunder sounding afterwards, as I pull the covers off of me and I quickly sit up.

Stretching out my arms and yawning, thankful that I slept so well, is when I remember that we have an adoption agency appointment today. And it's at eleven, just an hour away! I swing my legs over the side of the bed and gently rub my belly, before I get to my feet and I pull my hair back into a loose ponytail.

Still in his big t-shirt and sweatpants, I gently open the door and suddenly the scent of food comes rushing in my nose. Slowly making my way to the middle of the room is when I spot Caleb standing in the kitchen area looking in the fridge, having no idea I'm even here. Glancing over at the counter is when I finally realize that he's cooked me a full breakfast, probably way more than I could eat in a lifetime! There's baccon, pancakes, scrambled eggs, fruit, toast, and even sausages all on plates ready to go as he pulls a carton of orange juice out of the fridge and moves towards the table, suddenly jumping when his eyes lock with mine.

"Fuck," he groans, chuckling and slightly grinning. "You scared the hell out of me."

"Sorry," I softly let out, giggling under my breath as he gently places the carton on the table.

Staring back over at me is when his eyebrows raise and he waves me over to him, with a huge smile overtaking his face. "Come sit. You hungry? I hope you are. Took me forever to make all this."

Slowly walking across the room is when Caleb pulls out the chair, holding onto the back of it as I grin up at him and sit down, as he pushes it in for me. "I'm actually starving," I easily tell him, as he stands beside me and pours some orange juice into his glass, before glancing down at me and then pouring it into mine. "Where'd you get all this food, anyways?"

"The grocery store," he answers with a small smirk, as I can't help but smile.

"You mean you woke up early and ran out while I was sleeping, just so you could buy some food so you could make me breakfast?" I question him, astonished, as he nods. "That's so sweet."

"Yeah," he blankly mumbles, shyly grinning as he walks over to the counter and I grab my cup and take a few sips of juice. "So, what do you want to eat first?" He asks me, holding an empty plate in his hand with his eyes locked on mine.

"A little bit of everything," I nicely say, biting my lip from being so nervously happy. "I'm not that hungry, but I'm sure the baby is. Definitely. Oh, that reminds me I need to take my vitamins."

"Oh yeah," he deeply releases, filling my plate with a little portion of everything as he makes his way back to the table and gently puts in down in front of me. "I'll get them for you."
