After second and third hour I had lunch with everyone.
I sat in between Carter and Winnie as they talked around them. I poked at my food and lost myself in my own world. I soon felt a jab at my arm and I looked over to see Carter violating my bicep with a fork.
"Ow!" I pout.
"Oh get over it! I have a question." She sighed.
"What's up?"
"What's been going on with you? You seem spacey."
"Am I? Sorry. I guess I've just been in my own little world recently." I say shrugging.
She nods an okay and turns back to Harvey. Winnie shakes my hand and I look at her.
"The CAWS wanna know if you can hang with us after school today." She asks.
"Sure. Whatcha gonna do?" I question.
"We are gonna do a study group. And we were thinking maybe you could help us since you're smart." She said nudging me. I giggled and slapped her arm lightly.
I still loved them to death, even if they were ignoring me sometimes.
"Sure. I'd love to come." I nod and everyone listening in cheered.
After the lunch bell rang I threw away my trash and ran to my locker. Out of breath, I quickly unlocked it and ran to fourth hour which was on the other end of the school. I ran through the halls and up the stairs.
I breathed heavily as I made it into the classroom when the bell rang.
God I got to get into shape.
I huffed as I plopped down in my seat and the teacher cleared her throat before she began her lesson.
I hated this class more then bio.
I sat in trigonometry for the hour, trying not to nod off and take a nap. Soon the board snapped up and adrenaline pumped through my body to stay awake. If she caught me sleeping, I might as well say goodbye to that A. She handed out our homework and I groaned. Yes I knew how to do the homework but it was just so much work that I wasn't willing to do. The class went silent again and we all worked on our homework.
"Jesus take me now." I said as I looked up before I started my work.
I was halfway through the worksheet when the bell rang and we were rushed out of class.
Fifth and sixth hour went by super quick and I stared at Ryan all seventh hour.
Before I knew it the day was over and I was in a park with the CAWS.
I sat down and opened my notebook to help everyone with biology.
Winnie groaned as I explained what we were learning to her.
"Trust me I know how boring it is but you have to pass this class!" I prodded.
"What if I just drop out and become a subway worker?" She asked me.
"Then you can say goodbye to that Volkswagen Phaeton 2017 in light blue." I warned as I held my note sheet out at her to take them. She loved the idea of owning that car. She has had an obsession with it since she could talk.
"But... Ugh fine..." she conformed and snatched the notes from my hand. I laughed as I turned to help Cameron with what he was struggling with.
"Can you please show me how to do this?" Sawyer begged Cameron. I saw Cameron blush at the begging of Sawyer. I always knew Cameron was gay but I was still unsure about Sawyer. I knew Cameron had had a crush on Sawyer ever since Winnie joined their group. Abigail sat in the back and I watched as she went over the notes that were passed around.
"Oh come on Sawyer give it back!" I heard Cameron whine as Sawyer held them in the air. Sawyer was about half a foot taller then Cameron and like hell he was more muscular. Sawyer was your average football player and Cameron was like the trumpet player in the school band. I laughed at their kerfuffle and shook my head.
They so need to just make out.
Sawyer gave the paper back and Cameron was fuming from the ears in anger and embarrassment.
He stomped back over as Sawyer came swaggering back over chuckling at the sight of Cameron frustration.
"Okay children, we need to be studying, not flirting." I said waving a pencil at the two love birds.
Sawyers face dropped and he cleared his throat as he went back to work.
We stayed at the park until it got dark out. We all walked back to Cameron's blue Jeep and we got in with our stuff. We dropped off Abigail and then Winnie.
It was me, Cameron and Sawyer left in the car.
I was next to get out and I threw Cameron a wink as I got out, signaling for Cameron to make a move.
I closed the door and walked inside to my little brother and my cat greeting me.
"Hey honey! How was your day?" My mom asked.
"It was fine!" I said as I sat down. My dad kissed me on the top of the head as he sat down across from me and my mom set dinner on the table.
"So, tell us about your day."
