I coughed as the smoke filled my lungs. My body got tired and I laid down numbly with my hands still tied.
I shook my body as I coughed.
My vision blurred and my ears rang. All I heard was fire cracking and the ringing that sounded in my ears.
"Kaida!" A voice shouted.
"Here!!" I tried as hard as I could to scream.
"Kaida??" He asked again.
"I'm here!!" I rasped. He broke down the door and rushed in. He instantly growled at the fire and slashed the ties. He picked me up and carried me out of the burning tree.
"Asher?" I ask as I reach for his face.
His green eyes flashed for a second and I knew it was him. I stared at his face in half wolf form as I slowly start to nod off.Third pov
Asher had ran back to the school. He laid her down on the cold concrete floor.
Asher howled out a low S.O.S and the gang ran to the school. The slammed the doors open and saw a sooted Kaida and Asher.
"Help her! She isn't breathing!"
Carter leaned down and started CPR on Kaida.
Sawyer held Cameron as they watched. Abigail let out a silent tear as Kaida was unresponsive.
Winnie screamed for Kaida to wake up. Asher started to cry as he saw his crush's life fade away. Harvey looked at Carter as she tried to revive her best friend.
"Come on Kaida! Wake up!!" Carter said as she pushed harder to wake her up.
Asher whispered "please Kaida."
Soon, Kaida took a big inhale and sat up. Everyone cheered and cried. Carter gripped onto Kaida as she gained her consciousness.
"Oh my god I don't know what I would have done if you died." Winnie cried. Everyone helped her up and she smiled at all of them.Kaidas pov
"Thank you guys so much." I laughed and hugged everyone.
I looked ever at Asher who had tears down his face. I walked over hastily to Asher and cupped his face and kissed him on the lips. Asher eyes were wide as I leaned into him. He slowly wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me back.
I backed away and looked at him.
He laughed and hugged me. He spun me around and I hugged him.
"Okay are we done? We have a battle to fight out there!" Carter interrupted.
"Yeah. We-we should go." I said backing away from Asher.
"Yeah." He sighed and we ran out of the building to finish the battle we started.
