I lie on the bed completely motionless, stricken with depression and a feeling of betrayal. Who treats a human being like this? I get tossed around and harassed by all the jerk faces around campus, and when I think I've finally made a friend, he backstabs me before I even get to know the guy.

A wet tear streams down my face, and my self tanner starts to run. It drips onto my white sweatshirt. Ew.

The door swings open, and Rami enters. His face suggests he is angry and confused. All I see is the face of Satan!

"Have fun?" I ask maniacally. "At this ice cream museum? What'd you do with the extra ticket, huh?"

"I gave it to Katherine Steele," Rami says, sitting down on his bed and taking his shoes off. "That weird Broadway girl. You know? Kate's friend? Turns out she's a total nightmare."

"You betrayed me!" I say, starting to bawl. "Betrayal!!!"

"What?" Rami asks, pretending to be confused.

"Don't act DUMB!!" I holler. "You know exactly what you did? Don't you notice that I get constantly harassed around school?! And then you GET TICKETS FOR THE WRONG TIME!!!" I cry directly into my pillow.

"Sebastian," he says. "I'm in no mood to deal with this." He stands up and just walks out of the dorm room, but I stop him before he gets to the door, by thrusting my body onto him and tackling him.

"You're pathetic!!" I scream in his ear from on top of him. He is lying on the floor in pain.

"Ew. Your self-tanner just dripped into my eye," he says. I don't really know how to respond to that.

"You've made me furious," I whisper angrily.

Weird musical theatre girl Katherine Steele opens the door. I guess Rami forgot to lock it.

"Rami, can we talk about what happened?" she says compassionately.

"NO!" Rami says, kicking me in the ribs. It hurts a lot, but I will show no sign of weakness. He grabs my arms and untangles himself, then stands up and bolts out the door, completely ignoring Katherine.

"Are you okay?" she asks me.

"No!" I wine. "I have no friends!!"

"I already knew that," she says, a bit embarrassed. "Hey, I know what will help. I run a musical theatre kid support group called 'the Phantoms', after Phantom of the Opera. We call ourselves a musical theatre cult as a joke. Hahaha. I didn't have a lot of friends when I first came here, but when I started the Phantoms, I made so many amazing friends. We have a meeting tonight at eight in the boiler room near the dining hall. You're welcome to join."

The word that stands out to me the most is cult. "I'll be there."
